This historical drama is a must watch for everyone. It portrays the 1947 Partition of India and Pakistan and what happened to two families during and after the history making event. The acting was superb; there are not enough adjectives to describe the depth of the actors ability to bring to life the experiences associated with the birth of a nation. Suffice it to say, you must watch it to understand it from a Muslim perspective. It will make you weep and it will depress you, but it will also make you THINK because it represents real life events. Take a bow, Sonam, Fawad and the rest of the wonderful cast - you really deserve it!

Yes indeed its a sad story, but every citizen of both India & Pakistan should watch this show to know how much both countries have sacrificed to gain independence. And even after independence this country was divided into 3 parts on the basis of religion only.

Just 30% of the story is about human love rest 70% is about love towards your own country and motherland.

I have never seen such a drama that shaked my heart like this, such a rich in emotion drama ,i can't get out of it all the day, sometimes i just sit,think and laugh that i have been living in fiction since 10 days round the clock. There are so many things that connect your soul with so many different dimensions.living in current world without even barely touching each other in show these drama proves that ruhaniyat can mingle with ruhaniyat.it's not just a show about genocide or india pakistan culture, every time i think about hasan rabiya bano or suraiya my heart get fill with the power of one's characteristic love for the goal.i can't Stop writing about it,i will just beg you all to watch this show and feel so filled like me.

this is the best drama i have ever watched, the way she manage to write the story its awesome, specially da dialogue by BANO brother to her mom, 'Ammi BANO ka galla daba do' means kill bano its fab, i bet it will make you cry, the cast is superb sanam, fawad n ahsan, da only missing thing is that they didn't give much importance to the set, thats why i rated it 9 otherwise in each n every field its 10/10. thats why it was nominated for 9 award and won 6 out of that. drama is full of emotions and it touched the peak at the time when Bano says to his mother, "I can forget everything in this world. I can forget that I am Naseeruddin's daughter, that I am the sister of Faheem and Saleem, and that I am Hassan's fiancé. But I can never forget that I am first and foremost a Muslim. I will never bow down to your Guru Granth Sahib!" simply Awesome
