Conservative media firm The Daily Wire has optioned exclusive film and TV series rights to develop and produce an adaptation of Arthurian legend novels The Pendragon Cycle.

Spencer Klavan, son of author Andrew Klavan, is developing the unique Atlantean language, saying that the language will have Easter eggs for linguists who enjoy the likes of The Lord of the Rings.

Although Stephen Lawhead has been publishing books since 1982, this will be the first TV show or movie based on his books to be made.
