Act Your Age

Being a lady in my prime at 57, I relate so much to this well put together comedy! Having "grown up" with these actresses over the years, it's quite refreshing to see these women at the top of their game! And even though people want to compare ACT YOUR AGE to the classic Golden Girls, I urge viewers to watch ACT YOUR AGE for it's own unique type of comedy! I rarely laugh out loud at typical sitcoms but this one right here.... HITS HOME!! Did anyone catch Tisha Campbell's (Keisha) Easter egg from SCHOOL DAZE? I do hope BOUNCE TV keeps ACT YOUR AGE in rotation for many seasons to come! BRAVA ladies!!

This show has a classic sitcom format we don't see a lot of these days, and an interesting "golden girls" like premise. Yvette and Kym's characters are really believable and a treat, Tisha's leans a little too into tropes but is key to pushing Yvette's character out of her comfort zone. I wish they let her feel a little more real. I am also not so sure about the side stories with their kids, though as moms I understand why they are part of the show. Just maybe next season have a little less of them and a little more of the three main characters (and let Tisha's character feel a little more authentic). An easy watch.

I am loving this story of three vibrant, energetic middle aged African American women who are not trying to be younger than they are, but are living life on their terms despite all the ups and downs. The comedic timing between the three actors, Tisha Campbell, Nicole Brown and Kim Whitley is flawless. The chemistry between them is undeniable. Each character has her own distinct personality. Keisha (Tisha Campbell) is a free-spirit. Angela (Yvette Nicole Brown) is kind of straight-laced. Bernadette (Kym Whitley) is ambitious. They all live together in Bernadette's high-rise apartment where Bernadette owns the building. This show, so far, is funny and entertaining. Keep up the good work.

I already love the stars of this show. There are some points where it looks like the ladies should be given more input in the writing & lines but other than that I love it. Tisha Campbell is hilarious in everything she does but i feel like she has finally been let loose on this show. Her expressions & comedic timing is priceless I hope this show will last until they reach the age of the golden girls. This is a winner. (Note to writers, many of us can tell when the line delivered was probably not written by a woman, give them more input & this will be a top rated show. All of the actors are so talented, there is no reason to be overly silly which is turning some of my friends off. Me I personally enjoyed every episode but I need you to hang in there. I need more of this of this show for years to come.

Act your age is the modern day golden girls. Three woman in their 50's living together that in a lot of ways are completely different from one another. The sweet Yvette Nicole Brown, the wild Tisha Campbell, and the sharp Kym Whitley join forces to star in this unforgettable, hilarious, warm, family comedy. This show demonstrates the perfect blend of comedy, drama, and heart. The comedy element makes me smile and laugh every time.

There aren't many multi-cam TV shows produced these days that will stand the test of time but I think this one will. The episodes so far have been very well written and so funny. I'm looking forward to what's to come.

Hoping Bounce TV will renew this show.
