To be honest, I wasn't expecting to be that good. I was just looking for some anime to watch while taking dinner, and now I'm SO excited, it's fun, engaging, intense, I need more.
There's a comment saying that is predictable... dude, I'm pretty good at predicting what is going to happen in every movie, tv show or whatever, but this is not one of those shows where I was trying to predict or thinking about it, I was so focused on watching and immersed in the story, that I didn't even had time for that.
Animation kinda reminded me to Arcane, it's beautiful.
Also, this is my 1st review. I've seen a lot of stuff, and this is the first anime that makes me wanna say "I have to review it". A must watch!

Okay, I have to say this-there's this anime that nobody seems to be talking about, and I genuinely don't understand why. I stumbled on it randomly, no hype, no recommendations, just pure curiosity. And wow. I was not ready. This show? It's absolutely insane-in the best way possible. The animation alone is chef's kiss-cinematic, fluid, and just visually stunning. You can tell the team behind it poured real love into every single frame. It legit looks like a movie, but it's a weekly series. Like, how??
I kept expecting it to fumble somewhere because that's usually how these under-the-radar anime go-you get a cool idea, maybe solid animation for the first episode or two, then it drops off. But this one? It just keeps getting better. The story actually has layers. The characters feel real, the pacing is tight, and there's just something about it that grabs you and doesn't let go. There's emotional weight to what's happening, but it's also just straight-up cool. It hits that sweet spot of being fun and meaningful.
And listen, I don't say this lightly-but this might be Anime of the Year material. I know we're getting spoiled with big-name releases right now, but this show deserves to be in the conversation. It's better than a lot of the more hyped series I've seen lately, and it's doing its own thing in a way that feels fresh and exciting.

It's so underrated!!! Although there's no hype around its release, it's definitely still a must-watch! The whole show is made in China and has a multiple-style animation. I believe it could end up as good as Arcane or Spider-verse!
The plot is original, and the story layers itself very well. The first episode gets you hooked, something like Oshi No Ko's first episode. It starts strong and instantly does something you wouldn't expect. The plot doesn't drop off either. It just keeps on getting better and better!
The art style is slightly different from traditional anime, but the animation is still fantastic! I would say it reminds me of Spider-verse's animation. The amount of movement sometimes is absolutely insane! You can instantly tell that the animators are being paid well. They play around with the animation sometimes too, as it has a multiple-style animation.

What a fantastic start. I'm new to this kind of animation, but I can't resist the thrill of complex, layered plots that keep you guessing. To Be Hero X might just be one of the most refreshing and imaginative series I've stumbled upon in a long time. While I'm still only on episode two, the impact it has made already is undeniable-it's fast-paced, visually gripping, emotionally sharp, and unpredictably bold.
What really sets To Be Hero X apart is its ability to blend multiple genres and tones without missing a beat. It's not afraid to be funny, then deadly serious, then deeply introspective-all in the span of a few scenes. The animation itself is striking, with stylized action sequences and fluid motion that reflect not just skill, but vision. It leans into its aesthetic in a way that feels confident and deliberate, combining cinematic storytelling with dynamic visuals to create something that feels entirely fresh.
Character development is another huge strength here. What begins as what you might assume to be a generic or even comedic protagonist quickly becomes something much deeper. There's a transformation that happens-not just in action, but in purpose. Without revealing any spoilers, I'll say this: this character's journey is full of tension, mystery, and stakes that you can actually feel. It's rare for a show to make you care this quickly, but To Be Hero X does just that.
The world-building is also incredibly immersive. It's clear the creators aren't just throwing in cool concepts for the sake of flair. There's thought and depth behind the scenes, and every twist, every location, every reveal feels like it belongs to a much larger puzzle. Even with only a couple of episodes in, the hints dropped about the bigger picture are enough to spark endless questions, theories, and anticipation. I genuinely can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
Another thing worth mentioning is the tone and dialogue. This show balances humor with heart in a way that feels very natural. It never leans too hard into one extreme. Instead, it uses comedy to humanize its characters and make the emotional moments hit harder. The script feels smart, even philosophical at times, without becoming preachy or forced.
To Be Hero X also deserves praise for being accessible to newcomers like me. I didn't watch the original To Be Hero or To Be Heroine before jumping in, but I never once felt lost. The story respects your attention and builds its universe in a way that feels both new and familiar. There are layers of cultural and artistic references here that seasoned anime fans will catch, but it's also grounded enough for first-time viewers to fall in love.
If the show continues at this pace, I truly believe it's going to become the next big thing everyone's talking about. It has the right mix of originality, emotional weight, action, and artistry to leave a serious mark. I'm already hooked, and I can't wait to keep watching.
In short, To Be Hero X is not just another animated series-it's a wild, thoughtful, heart-pounding ride through a world that feels both outlandish and deeply real. Whether you're a longtime fan of animation or a curious newcomer like me, it's worth your time. You'll laugh, you'll think, and you might even be moved.

Seems to be something new with beautiful animation and an interesting storyline. Furthermore, I think the love story between nice and moon can be developed into something really nice and I think this is a potential to be one of the best releases this season.
