फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Tapped out midway through season 1. By no means is this bad, but the amount of 10 star reviews is a bit fishy for what it actually is. Let's start with the good:
The sci-fi elements of the series are pretty aesthetic, from the clean gold and white structures, to the perfect cities.
I'm also not overtly opposed to a society anchored around the manifestation of power through a mildly dystopic social credit system, if it weren't so shallowly portrayed.
The fusion of art styles can make for some interesting scenery after you get past the CGI, and some of the concepts are decent, like having to live in the mask of your idols.
Now for the bad:
I'm not a fan how they keep cycling through new lead characters, with completely separated casting. To develop a proper level of attachment, more building is required. But it's cut short here.
Further, side characters are way too one dimensional. If a fan girl is a fan girl, that's all she'll ever be. If a bad guy is bad, then that's about all you need to know.
I'm mostly dissatisfied with the writing, and I really dislike the disjointed pacing around the introduction of new personalities. It's a little repetitive to constantly portray shyness through the main character (for the moment, anyhow). And there's no clear indication as to "how" people started developing powers, which makes it all seem a tad silly. Additionally, it's like they're afraid to showcase the darker and more graphic elements of this sci-fi world, and can at times lean too heavily on more childish marvel-esque themes.

At first, the animation style takes a bit of getting used to, but you get the hang of it pretty quickly. The story is super engaging, and the music really pulls you in. It kind of reminds me of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
Cinematically, it's well put together, with some stunning visuals and solid direction. The pacing is just right-never feels rushed, but it also doesn't drag. The characters are already pretty interesting, and it feels like the story is setting up for something big. I have really high expectations for this anime, and I'm excited to see where it goes.

What a fantastic start. I'm new to this kind of animation, but I can't resist the thrill of complex, layered plots that keep you guessing. To Be Hero X might just be one of the most refreshing and imaginative series I've stumbled upon in a long time. While I'm still only on episode two, the impact it has made already is undeniable-it's fast-paced, visually gripping, emotionally sharp, and unpredictably bold.
What really sets To Be Hero X apart is its ability to blend multiple genres and tones without missing a beat. It's not afraid to be funny, then deadly serious, then deeply introspective-all in the span of a few scenes. The animation itself is striking, with stylized action sequences and fluid motion that reflect not just skill, but vision. It leans into its aesthetic in a way that feels confident and deliberate, combining cinematic storytelling with dynamic visuals to create something that feels entirely fresh.
Character development is another huge strength here. What begins as what you might assume to be a generic or even comedic protagonist quickly becomes something much deeper. There's a transformation that happens-not just in action, but in purpose. Without revealing any spoilers, I'll say this: this character's journey is full of tension, mystery, and stakes that you can actually feel. It's rare for a show to make you care this quickly, but To Be Hero X does just that.
The world-building is also incredibly immersive. It's clear the creators aren't just throwing in cool concepts for the sake of flair. There's thought and depth behind the scenes, and every twist, every location, every reveal feels like it belongs to a much larger puzzle. Even with only a couple of episodes in, the hints dropped about the bigger picture are enough to spark endless questions, theories, and anticipation. I genuinely can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
Another thing worth mentioning is the tone and dialogue. This show balances humor with heart in a way that feels very natural. It never leans too hard into one extreme. Instead, it uses comedy to humanize its characters and make the emotional moments hit harder. The script feels smart, even philosophical at times, without becoming preachy or forced.
To Be Hero X also deserves praise for being accessible to newcomers like me. I didn't watch the original To Be Hero or To Be Heroine before jumping in, but I never once felt lost. The story respects your attention and builds its universe in a way that feels both new and familiar. There are layers of cultural and artistic references here that seasoned anime fans will catch, but it's also grounded enough for first-time viewers to fall in love.
If the show continues at this pace, I truly believe it's going to become the next big thing everyone's talking about. It has the right mix of originality, emotional weight, action, and artistry to leave a serious mark. I'm already hooked, and I can't wait to keep watching.
In short, To Be Hero X is not just another animated series-it's a wild, thoughtful, heart-pounding ride through a world that feels both outlandish and deeply real. Whether you're a longtime fan of animation or a curious newcomer like me, it's worth your time. You'll laugh, you'll think, and you might even be moved.

The animation is EPIC. I know when you look at the picture you think "omg CGI, never going to watch that", i know because im one of thoose Anime watchers!
But then i was confused by the high rating. So yeah i gave it a shot. I was HOOKED hard in the first 10mins. I understood the reason why Thumbnails etc. Looked like they did.
I understand WHY they use the animation they do. Its for a reason. And its totally worth the watch! Im allready convinced this is going to be this season(maby even year) best Anime out there!
Are you an anime watcher or liked Netflix's LoL (League of legends) animation series "Arcane" you going to love this anime, i promise!
Just give it a go!
Dont worry, the cgi is there for a reason and its top class!

It's so underrated!!! Although there's no hype around its release, it's definitely still a must-watch! The whole show is made in China and has a multiple-style animation. I believe it could end up as good as Arcane or Spider-verse!
The plot is original, and the story layers itself very well. The first episode gets you hooked, something like Oshi No Ko's first episode. It starts strong and instantly does something you wouldn't expect. The plot doesn't drop off either. It just keeps on getting better and better!
The art style is slightly different from traditional anime, but the animation is still fantastic! I would say it reminds me of Spider-verse's animation. The amount of movement sometimes is absolutely insane! You can instantly tell that the animators are being paid well. They play around with the animation sometimes too, as it has a multiple-style animation.
