After watching every episode of this, I have to say I believe it's real.Which is rare for Animal Planet.While it may be real, all the crimes are truly ridiculous.Almost once an episode someone gets busted for announcing they poached animals on Facebook,too funny.There's a constant stream of night hunters, road hunters, felons with guns, missing people and drunk guys on snowmobiles.They are now apparently known as snow machines, which sounds like they would make snow.There have even been multiple times when people in vehicles ran over animals and then backed up and ran them over again.Which leads us to believe that people in Maine are really weird.This is definitely a show you should watch.If only for the fact that it's silly to get busted by a game warden.

Fun show to watch. I know it's New Hampshire and it's not legally required, but I wish these guys would all wear their seatbelts.

Very entertaining series that goes between the mundane and the very serious quickly. From saving a duck to recovering a drowned body, the show has it all.

What a great show!! These conservation officers do a great job protecting our natural habitat here in New England, they seem to more than fair to most of these low lifes who poach animals etc. Though I miss the Maine wardens, the NH episodes are almost as good!

I'd highly recommend north woods law, it is a great show and is very interesting to watch. I love how it takes place in Maine which is such a beautiful state. The show is very entertaining to watch because the game wardens have to deal with all types of problems in the woods including hunting violations, fishing violations, crime, etc. If your an outdoors person like I am I think you would find the show very interesting to watch because it is non stop action of the game wardens doing there job. So overall I would recommend it if your into the outdoors and into law enforcement.

I think this show is horrible. I do not believe in hunting. There is no need to hunt. Where not cavemen. There bunch of cowards. Be a man and go to the army if you want to be a tough guy. And they should take it off animal planet.

ALL I SEE IN THIS SHOW IS TICKETS,THE MORE THE MERRIER,YOU PPL GIVE OUT MORE TICKETS,THEN ANYWHERE I KNOW,IT'S THE MOST OF WHAT THE SHOW IS ABOUT,HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE,TO GO THROUGH A TICKET BOOK,A WEEK? IS THIS THE IDEA OF THE SHOW?,CAUSE THAT'S ALL WE GOT OUT OFIT,CHARGING TO RESCUE PPL,IT'S ABSURD. EVERY EPISODE,I THINK MAYBE WE CAN GET THROUGH ONE WITHOUT A TICKET,BUT NO,OVER AND OVER AGAIN THIS SHOW PROVES ME WRONG. DO YOU CHARGE THE FAMILY,WHEN YOU RECOVER A BODY TO? WHERE IS THE POSITIVE SIDE TO THIS SHOW? I REALLY TRIED TO FIND IT,JUST DON'T SEE IT,IT JUST SEEMS LIKE THE BIGGEST IS GIVING TICKETS.
