It's been almost 4 hours since I finished the finale of volume 1 'The Sorcerer' and I'm still completely mind blown and in shock. This episode (specifically the last 30 minutes) was INSANE. Definitely in the top 5 best episodes of this series. This season so far is amazing.. I thought it had a rocky start at first but it all started to click and fall into place. I cannot wait to see where the next 4 episodes take us. Volume 1 as a whole is a 9.5/10 for me, the next 2 parts cannot come soon enough!!
This episode wasn't just good; it was a perfect storm of suspense and heart. The narrative pacing was flawless, building tension relentlessly from the opening sequence.
What truly elevated it was the next-level character development. We finally saw several characters fully embrace their potential, leading to deeply satisfying emotional payoffs.
The performances were stellar across the board, matching the intensity of the writing.
But we have to talk about the final act. The last 20 minutes were truly remarkable-a masterful, heart-stopping, and visually stunning climax.

I couldn't be happier about how great this final season of my favorite show is turning out. Every moment of these first four episodes was well-thought. I loved how they immediately got into action and followed-up with season 4's ending. Unlike season 3 which took like four episodes to take shape.
I think the Duffer Brothers have been doing a lot of research! They have fixed several problems of the previous seasons. After season 1, Demogorgans, were not that scary. Here, they are once again vicious and terrifying and actually do damage. During seasons 3 and 4, Mike had become an annoying and unlikable character. They have carefully fixed that too, in only four episodes. Also, Will became less and less important throughout the show. He clearly had a connection with the upside down so pushing him aside seemed wrong. Not only they fixed that, they took it to the next level and finally gave him what he so deserved. These are many more improvements in this season.
The Duffer Brothers also seem to have learned from other shows and movies. They are doing what GoT failed to do. THEY ARE DELIVERING! Every episode gives you something without being rushed or slow. They do feel like a movie on their own. In the mean time, they are very coherent and cohesive. You can actually see them as one great movie. Everything works perfectly in-sync. In fact, considering how the story moves forward and what it leads to in the end, it reminded me of Avengers: Infinity War. I want this to be spoiler free, so if you've seen both, you know what I mean.
Anyway, after these 4 episodes I really have high hopes for the finale of the show. I wish for something big that would be talked about for years. It really has the potential for it.

Great first half of the new season full of intensity and shock loving this season so far it has its fair share of humor too. Cant wait to see the rest EXCITED TO END THIS SERIES 10 years in the making and im extremely curious to see whats to come. So far this is probably the best season and were only half way done.
This Fourth episode was the best episode of Season 5 Volume 1.
Someone in this episode be like, "Now, I'm not in Danger, I'm the Danger."
The first 5 minutes are tight while the last 30 minutes are literally brilliant and outstanding.
The continuation is the strongest here, the duo of Hopper and Jane as well as Holly and MaX were amazing. The bathroom scene was literally intense and the story of MaX was just amazing. She, Hopper and Will have suffered enough.
And the last scene was literally banger which can enhance or change the level of entire upcoming events. Action scenes are amazing and visual effects are top notch and stunning.
