फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Gathering at a remote house, a group of friends thinking they're holding a special easter celebration only to learn the whole thing was a ruse by a strange killer to lure them together so that they could unravel the truth about a death they caused a year ago and must try to stop the killer after them.
This was a problematic follow-up that does have some likable factors. Among the better features here is the ability to continue the focus that the original established in using the group's past as a motive for launching the rampage. Using pretty much the same setup involving the friends who are all called out to a remote house in the countryside trying to put a dark secret from their past behind them and enjoy the holiday season only to find themselves in a bunny mask turning the whole thing into a way of bringing that to light, there's a fun sense of familiarity and cohesion between the two entries. With their arrival at the location turning this into a series of interrogations and conversations about what they've been brought together and what's going on, the clues about what happened to their friend serves the film nicely as it brings about the way everything comes together with the revelations about their friend and the purpose of the killer stalking them that displays quite a lot of intriguing elements about making it feel genuinely connect to the original in how it all comes together. These are enough to make this one enjoyable enough, even though there are some big issues keeping this down. The main factor to be had with this one is the lethargic and draining pace that comes about as a result of this kind of investigation into what happened, as nothing happens for long periods. Focusing more on the group sitting around trying to uncover what happened from the threatening messages that spur a series of flashbacks to talk about what happened, it ends up feeling incredibly slow-going to the point of making the few intrusions to kill someone off feel underwhelming and just not that interesting. On top of that, the mystery investigation and eventual reveal that goes on here turns the group into such an unlikable lot that it's not worth being around them much anyway, especially when the revenge nature of everything is brought about. The other issue here is the sense of lacking intensity in the kill scenes where it never manages to go for the throat when it should've as there's such a low body-count it doesn't have the chance to feature anything, and when it does they're so lame and lackluster it stands out quite heavily with everything bringing this down overall.
Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Language, Violence, and sexual content.

I have to admit, when I read the titles (Easter Bunny Massacre 1&2), I was expecting actual bunnies to be the killers. Well puppets of bunnies of course - so they would not be harmed either. So no pun intended with that summary line. But both movies are more like "I know what you did last summer" (summer being replaced by easter of course) ... do not worry if you haven't seen the first one though.
They actually do the same story more or less. With touches of Scream ... which is not a comparison many movies would survive (again no pun intended). Just try to watch this as the low budget weird thing that it is ... nothing more, nothing less. It is a movie about ... well killings ... which goes back to the original title of the first one ...

NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. I have watched many of the horror genre. I have watched some of the best made Hollywood movies to the direct to DVD movies, this doesn't even rate at the bottom of that scale. This movie is extremely boring, bad acting, bad plot, overall just very hard to watch or care to pay attention to. Its not scary, no special effects...not even bad ones that you can laugh at...just nothing redeeming at all in this movie. I can usually watch the whole movie, even if its bad because I can laugh my way through how bad it is BUT on this movie, I'm sorry...it shouldn't have ever been made.
