First off, it's a fun show and a little fascinating watching how some of these strange loads get from point A to point B. I think that the show does display real transporters, their real equipment, real loads, and real shipping. I also think that nearly all the drama is forced, fake, and completely inserted into the show to make it more interesting. I think that the personalities of the characters are vastly exaggerated. Roy isn't a complete jerk, Jarrod isn't a naive clutz, and Jennifer isn't a damsel in distress. That's all made up. Getting permits to haul heavy equipment across state lines, renting equipment, coordinating pickups and dropoffs, and tying down loads however is not. Ultimately it's fun to watch, but if you've seen one episode you've seen them all.

At the end of one episode, one driver finished in San Francisco, another driver in Phoenix, one in Dallas TX, one in Charlotte NC.

The next morning they bid for new shipments. One of the shipments was scheduled to be hauled from Austin TX to Fresno CA. Now here is what puzzles me: The drivers sitting in San Francisco and Charlotte have to drive thousands of miles just to pick up the shipment in Austin TX, while the driver sitting in Dallas, can be there within a few hours. Would that not influence their bidding? It's 1800 Miles from San Francisco to Austin. Does that cost not have to be factored into the bid? I guess not, because all drivers act as if they are sitting in Austin, yet we know they are not.

Makes the show appear to be fake, yet I believe the loading/unloading/driving is real. Still very entertaining, just not realistic.

Much like "Storage Wars" or "Storage Hunters", i did not want to watch this, yet - it's good. However, Shipping Wars outshines both these shows, as the setting, items and journeys are different every single time. Roy is by far the star of this show, with Jarrett providing some look through your fingers viewing. I did not expect to enjoy this at all, however the downright fun of it, and the constant remarks from Roy such as "perfect, just like me" make it fantastic viewing. The one let down to the series is Chris and Robbie, whom do not posses the "entertainment factor" unlike Roy, Mark, Jarrett and Jennifer who always manage to come out with snide comments, hilarious one liners and always produce a wonderful show. As I said before, Roy is by far the star of this show, and sometimes overwhelms everyone - however, this is a good thing. Once you start watching, you wont want to see anyone else.

Shipping Wars is well worth a watch, and will leave you rooting for Roy and his one liners, and leaving you a bit starstruck with the idiocy of Jarrett.

A real, true, gritty 10 out of 10 show.

This reboot isnt good or interesting at all. The white couple argues all the time, the black couple is rude and has a bad attitude, the older guy is boring and the older black lady is loud and annoying. Smh, i dont like the brokers either.. sorry guys, but this is a FAIL... i even miss jarrod! And he was the biggest moron alive😂

Its entertaining! Love the cast and the humor of the show. I recomend this show, time flies by quick when i watch it

Episodes with Roy Garber are awesome, after that it's pretty much more of the same. And adding more neophytes with less than average experience is a repetitive. One Jared is enough!

I love this show. It almost makes me want to switch careers. I think the network manipulates it a bit though. I saw Robbie with something that said veti on it and then saw Roy with a veti can cooler. Its to promote that garbage, fake, waste of programming show about trying to catch big foot. If they find him, I will personally fight him at the garden, and I'm an over weight, average dude with no real fight experience. Other than your common school fights and a little bit of boot camp. Regatdless, marks on point most of the time, I think Roy's on point but plays that tough guy thing up a bit, chris and Robbie are by far the best with all there awesome equipment. Not to mention Robbie's very easy on the eyes. Then there's Jennifer...wow...she's crazy hot, I'd love to just ride along with her, even if she wouldn't let me speak. I was heart broken that she got pregnant but the man in her life is very lucky. So much for my dream of running into her on the road and having love at first sight. And I'm a chubby kid from PA so the odds were never in my favor : - (

This review is given based on the new episodes. I enjoyed the earlier episodes of Shipping Wars, the newer episodes are horrible. The new cast tries hard to be like the original cast. We definitely did not ask for this reboot! Please stop filming and end the show. I'd rather watch the reruns.

Has anyone besides me noticed that Jessica looks, acts, and is just as rude and obnoxious as Roy was. You would think The Me to Movement would be raising all kinds of cain the way Jessica the self centered witch and Jennifer the prima-donna witch who wants equal pay as a man but plays the dumb blonde on every load. "Can you help me load it," then stands back and let's the men do all the work, guess she's afraid she might break a fingernail. Now that she's pregnant (puke in my mouth) she's playing the dumb blonde plus " Can you do it for me I'm pregnant " role. And Jessica's smart mouth I don't understand why she hasn't been slapped right in that pie hole of hers. But like I said this witch truly looks and acts just like Roy. She is so freakin obnoxious it makes me sick. Did your mother ever teach you any manners be nice and people will treat you with a little respect....treat people the way you would want to be treated. Please take these two off the show, every time one of these two princesses under bids a real driver I have to leave the room.

Best show ever recorded. Rusty was cool? Yes! Entertainment value is out of this world. 11 out of 10. Rookie was underrated!!! Maybe if I would meet the cast I would die a happy person :)

Why in the hec would Jennifer B bid on a load she cant handle and take money from the real transporters. Then she doesnt have a clue how to load anything. The transporter business would be done with idiots like this. Sure its a show, do they teach em to be stupid....I guess. Dont bid until the last second...why show your hand early.

I'm a trucker myself you guys are a total disgrace to the industry sitting there with good paying jobs you guys are purposely underbidding each other doing everything you can you make it to the lowest bid possible accepting bids at solo you can't make money now all these new people coming into this industry are making it to where none of us can make money you guys doing that show or getting paid good money you are a big disgrace you are a total waste of flesh I tell you what have I ever see you out here on these streets I will box your ears for you dude.

Two things that killed this show... Roy's death Dusty's breath.

The worst ever TV-show produced and recorded. How can people thousands of miles apart comment each others load and freight? The whole series is staged and a fake. These guys in the show shouts at each other, again miles apart. He and she seem to be be idiots in what they are doing. According to the other drivers that is. Take it away, right away. Close the hole show down. Things are broken with a laugh, why? It's not even thirty seconds of fun. Who is paying for this? This could not have been produced in any other country than USA. Do you believe that all other countries are stupid and believe in this. Do I sound upset, yes because I am.

For some reason, I was addicted to Shipping Wars the seasons before Roy's death. Show should have been buried along with Roy afterwards. I can't figure out how Jen is licensed to do much of anything but whine. Oh wait a sec, she doesn't do anything but drive. Jarrett is comic relief?? Samko tries to hard to come off as hard. Is Dusty trying to act like a fool? Out of the bunch i might have to hire Mark to ship for us. I cringe to think I used to use u ship when I was in the horse business. I had lost interest by season 7. Season 8 was a joke but 9 is the worst season of any show on A & E. The "characters" aren't at all likable and the show screams fake. They try too hard & achieve nothing but a big fail.

Wow.. these people have horrible attitudes... horrible show.

Watching episode today and just for the record the husband wife team transporting the three little compartments possibly for A sky lift of sorts. The husband states that having only one ten thousand lb strap is enough to hold each of the units. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but but the FMCSA requires no less than two straps or chains per piece. This is required just in case one breaks there will be a second strap to keep from losing load.

Its this kind of irresponsible broadcasting that can literally get people killed and property damaged.

So when watching these episodes be vigilant and don't fall victim to the I saw them do it on tv syndrone ! That will carry little weight in a wrongful death lawsuit.!
