Watched this film a couple times with my fellow coasties while stationed in Kodiak. So cool that these guys were able to capture a sense for what it was like back in the day. Even though it was made on a shoe string budget they did a terrific job at building the tension in the story. They got the setting for Holiday Beach as accurate as possible having filmed it on the shore of Lake Superior. The only thing that would have made it feel more like Kodiak is if it was raining in every scene haha! So glad it's available now on Youtube. Makes it easier to put on for the purpose of conducting training on and to honor local area history in Kodiak.
