Interesting and highly relevant – but your watching propaganda

First of all you will probably find my background interesting: Having a bachelor in Political Science and a master in Political Communication I have worked with public relations and lobbyism from inside the system and know how rotten it can seem to be. I see Thrive as handling very relevant subjects - but with the use of very well known PR/propaganda-techniques as e.g. used during World War II.

I'm a big critic of the current economic world order and see a high regulation of the top banks as very necessary step to ever get rid of the huge gaps in human inequality. Therefore this movie was very interesting to me. But Gamble definitely manipulates the viewer just like the 'enemy' he is accusing.

Thrive connects a lot of very different an very complex subjects by simply putting them next to each other in sequence without using much time to explain thoroughly and scientifically the coherence – exactly how Hitler (or Goebbels) always used to put rats and Jews together, making a powerful mental tool to manipulate people's minds.

Notice how he suddenly jumps from one conclusion about extremely complex problems to the other. Exactly like any other propagandist would do. When just using a couple of quotes of well-known persons as 'proof' and then jumps to the next, any university professor would flunk him had it been an exam. It's simply not scientific.

Now I could easily turn Thrive upside-down as a rich and powerful person's (Gamble) own attempt to create a movement much like a religious sect. Why? Think of the audience he addresses: People that believe in aliens. Just like small religious sects appeal to people that are easily convinced that their misery is because of some master evil dominating them. The classic 'us vs. them'-way of propagandizing as seen in any war and conflict.

Try watching a Youtube-clip about Scientology and see if you can spot any similarities in structure and layout? Misery vs. perfection: People suffering in a toxic wasteland, but by joining the movement you will see people smiling like crazy in beautiful natural surroundings. It's classic propaganda.

I would still recommend people to watch this movie since it makes you think and reflect upon important subjects that we tend to not think about. But put on your 'critical glasses' because Gamble might as well attempt to use the viewer to become his follower and visit his website and in some way supplying Gamble with money.

By writing this I also used argumentation based on propaganda-techniques. My point is: Always be critical of what you see and read.

Pretty accurate documentary

Besides the alien stuff which is harder to prove this documentary is very accurate according to my own research over the past few years.

To the guy from Denmark who said this was nothing but propaganda, maybe you should take them time to do your own research on these subjects. Also I agree people should not always believe everything they see or read especially when it comes from known liars and people with an agenda. No one fits those characteristics better than corporations and governments.

If people are interested in a few books of well sourced material on some of these topics, I recommend En Route To Global Occupation by Gary Kah, Mankind At The Turning Point which is a book put out by one of the elites think tank groups the Club of Rome. A few more books that get in to the agenda of the elites and the organizations and think tanks they run try The deliberate dumbing down of America by Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt and Behind The Green Mask: UN Agenda 21 by Rosa Koire. You can get the original edition of the deliberate dumbing down for free in digital format at deliberatedumbingdown.com or buy her new revised and abridged edition on that site or Amazon.

I don't trust this

I'm going to start off by saying that the intentions of this film were definitely good, but I can not take this as an authentic documentary. I remember watching the first thirty minutes and being impressed at how it was a truly authentic and relevant film. Then they started talking about how crop circles were created by aliens and this lost most of its credibility. It's more or less obvious this film is promoting conspiracy theories. They may not use that exact term, but they do mention conspiracies at one point. The best parts are probably the beginning and the end as we get a good introduction and conclusion, respectively obviously.

The one thing that really dragged this film down was how prominent David Icke was featured. I've heard of him, but I believe this is the first time I ever saw what he looked like. He is probably the biggest promoter of the lizard people or reptilian conspiracy, which asserts that many famous people like the President of the United States and the Queen of England are giant lizards in disguise. At least he doesn't mention tin foil hats. I simply can not take anyone seriously with a belief this ridiculous. It's absurd even by the standards of OTHER conspiracy theories. There's also a part where they talk about the corruptness of the pharmaceutical industry, especially with how they want us to take more medication. I firmly believe that medication is good, as it is something that has been duplicated in laboratory conditions, which is enough evidence for me. It's obviously ahead of alternative medicine which has been endorsed by Deepak Chopra, who appears in this film as well.

I was really hoping that they wouldn't mention those stupid 911 conspiracy theories. They did, but I guess they didn't really agree with them. They just said more and more people believed them and they were at least open to the idea. This is a truly irrational belief that has no place in society at all. With all that being said, I do appreciate how they advocate for peace here. They talk about how the wealth is very unevenly distributed, which we can all agree on. It's nice that they say we should simply stop spending all our money on weapons and just use it to feed people.

Of course, Bill Hicks said it better. The people here seem nice enough and their hearts are in the right place. I guess you could say their minds aren't. I will always promote the creation of jobs and equal distribution. We really do have to stop believing in conspiracy theories. I would have loved to have seen James Randi in this. He's probably debunked this movie. **1/2

"First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win." - Wake up people! I can't believe, some of the ratings on this site?! This is a must see movie. From energy, money, health, world governments, deception on a scale that is beyond comprehension. Take the time and watch this with as many people and pass this on to as many people before its too late. Integrity freedom and compassion not tyranny, destruction and control and fear? No thanks! We have to change the way we do EVERYTHING! Some of the most honest people with the will to fight the establishment. Withdraw your support from the global elite. Thrive, is what the world should do

Foster Gamble presents this documentary, directed by his wife. He comes from that ruling elite in America that he suggests is behind the most extraordinary coup carried out in history. Power has gradually been usurped, he suggests, and those who truly influence our lives have become virtually unaccountable. The political faces we see about us are just the tip of an iceberg that has truly murky depths.

His premise will be very uncomfortable indeed for those who do not have an inkling about the way in which false flag operations have been used to justify the wars that have drained ordinary citizens of money in Europe and the USA and made certain small parts of society, that control armaments and oil, immensely wealthy.

He interviews those who are in a position to know what is going on with regard to power, the military and also the question of free energy and extra-terrestrial involvement. It is not surprising that this film attracts criticism, as it will have many elements that stretch belief; on his web site he gives links that provide much credence to all the key points he makes.

The film is presented very cleverly seeming to take the viewer off planet to get an overview of earth and its inhabitants. A film like this could just be depressing as it is suggesting that shadowy powers have tried, and nearly succeeded in stripping fundamental freedoms away in the Western World, and in particular in the US where many are sleep walking into a legal framework where they have little if any recourse to justice and real freedom at all.

This hidden coup has been accomplished by the expert deployment of technologies of mind control initially developed in the Nazi era and exported to the USA through the infamous Operation Paperclip.

So is it another of those documentaries that suggest The End is Nigh? In a way, but it is not at all without hope and points to the very many areas where extraordinary developments are taking place. It is easy to watch this documentary and recommend it to your friends. It may not be comfortable viewing but the very fact someone has bothered to make it, and make it quite so well, is encouraging. We do indeed live in interesting times.

A step in the right direction.

An inspiring, well put together film. It starts off with a series of odd topic that sort of put you off balance at first, but don't let it phase you.

Dive right in and experience the film. Gamble takes you on his journey to discover what's going on in the world around him, all the while explaining things that few people know. I did love the Free Energy references, though there WERE several advances left out. I won't go into specifics, as I would like you to draw your own conclusions.

The overall air of the film is that of hope for the future, and it slams the point across, time and again, that we must change.

A very good watch for intellectual friends or colleagues, if you're bored and wish to stay home. Not for cynics, as there are a lot of "Whoa now, c'mon." moments. All in all, I loved the film, plan and watching it again, and am currently sharing it with all my coworkers :)

Beware of IMDb Trolls with Fake Reviews

When watching a movie like Thrive, listen to your heart.

Don't waste your time reading so called "reviews" on IMDb, youtube, etc.

They are all FULL of Trolls.

Fake users with fake accounts who write negative reviews to "make" people believe what they want.

There are many people out there who does NOT want you to succeed.

Why? So they can stay on top.

It's not a damn conspiracy, it's survival of the fittest.

The dumber you are the smarter they are, the more for them and the less for you.

But hey, don't take my word for it.

Watch the film and open your mind.

Listen within You and Only You.

You will know the Truth.

The worst is assuming what this documentary is about and never giving yourself a chance to watch it at least once, beginning to end.

After reading so many negative reviews, it got to be disheartening. When I come back down to earth, that 66% rating is actually quiet high. The materials can be of a stretch for the non-initiated but over time, your heart will begin to resonate once you remove everything you once believe in, what is possible and not possible and watch it with an open mind. We're program to think the FDA, EPA, WHO and CDC are some authority to certify scientific research with proof, etc - but it's actually the other way around. Within YOU and you alone has the ability to discern and AUTHORITY to authenticate the information resonate with truth or not. This is a COMPLETELY different paradigm shift of awareness that we must all go through at this time. This documentary contains information similar to what you're telling a friend who is blinded in love, clearly love the wrong person, you told him/her a million times, they're just so blind and refuse to see the glaring evidences right before their eyes?! Although you may not agree or think everything presented is impossible but just like your friend, chances are they'll eventually see the truth over time. Not all recovers, just like some will never accept glaring obvious truth and THAT IS OKAY.

The entire world once hold sacred to the truth that the world is flat and the sun/moon/planets revolve around Earth; it was at one time the indisputable fact (if you challenge it, you will never receive your PhD equivalent in those days).

One thing I will say is LOVE. Genuine love is empowerment of free will (non-violation); not submission by force/fear (violation). Use your heart to "feel" and "resonate" with the truth. Never be afraid or succumb to any "fear-based" motivation, regardless of what pretext or excuse. "Know" that you are not meat or this human body shell that decays. "Know" that you are a sentient and indestructible consciousness that survives lifetimes. On the path to the final destination of endless joy, peace and victory requires one to walk the dark path of truth (the more you know, the more pain you carry - that type of thing). In the end, if you walk the path of Service-To-Others, there will be nothing but goodness awaiting you.

Thank you for being human because Within You contains infinite wisdom and potential. You have access Within You to all problems once you begin to accept all of world's problems belong to ALL OF US.

Remembrance of WHO YOU ARE.

Remembrance.

Be.

A great compilation of alternative information., and positive!

THIS FILM IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR FREE. Check their web page for more information.

Thrive is a film that does an excellent job of compiling some of the most important ideas of fringe information. Even better, they provide the viewer with a positive perspective on all of it. They even go a step further with a web page to help network, learn more, and check references for everything they state in the film.

I had previously watched over 300 hours of online video regarding fringe topics. And I was really impressed at how Thrive took some of the most important aspects of that information and put it in to one film.

Fringe information can be disturbing. So the fact that they also give some great positive ideas at the end is significant.

Thrive also offers some new ideas I had not heard before.

All media is biased. All of us...are biased. But I believe that if we are to get closer to what the Truth really is...the best way is to expose ourselves to a large variety of information sources and ideas. This film is a great way to do that.

An insane hodgepodge of pseudoscience and conspiracy theories

Every time somebody gives this film a good review, a Science Teacher's soul dies a little bit.

It really doesn't take any more than a passing familiarity with High School level physics to understand that the theories being peddled here are insane.

The production values are impressive, and the presentation slick enough to just about take you in for a moment or two.

But ultimately the conspiracy theory outlined just doesn't make any sense at all: if there was a source of limitless free energy out there and aliens beaming us blueprints for it, big global companies would be hard at work figuring out ways to pitch it to us and to construct services around it they could make money from, if only because the first mover to defect from the conspiracy and market the product would stand to make a stratospheric amount of money. The movie holds that somehow, the conspiracy is perfect - and the possibility of making an almost unlimited amount of money isn't enough to get any energy company to break the cartel. This is idiotic.

And yet, the gullible watch...and talk it up...and the producers laugh all the way to the bank.

Interesting but incoherent - Beware unfounded conspiracy theories - FLAWED

I enjoyed watching the movie which is rich on ideas and one can assume to be done with good intentions. I fully subscribe to the message of awakening and the documentary touches upon many important topics on global problems.

However, the movie lacks coherence and throws together unrelated issues from Fed conspiracy to Deepak Chopra's spiritual teachings. Moreover, one needs to seriously double-check the claims on some conspiracy theories. Some are obviously unfounded and fabricated, therefore seriously taking away credibility.

It's too easy to invent some scapegoats like 'these families', the government, the banks, the bad corporations, the rich etc. All these organizations are made of us people and its within our power to take self-responsibility and shape our lives, societies etc. in a better way.

UPDATE: FLAWED The movie is even so deeply flawed that 10 people - including Deepak Chopra - who appeared in the movie have dissociated themselves with the movie! See www.thrivemovement.com/thrive-movie-pioneer-letter-of- dissociation

where's Thrive part?

Mostly conspiracy theory, very little on thriving. Seems to lead down many paths, but no solid conclusions. Left religion out of world view discussion entirely.

Seems like an infomercial to lead you to their 'cause' or web site.

Parts seem professional, others seem amateurish. Gamble gives some personal background, pictures of college activities, then jumps forward 40 years. Like a New Age lecture dressed in semi-scientific mumbo jumbo. Repeatedly mentions family names of world conspirators, like beating a dead horse.

Several 'suppressed' energy devices are shown, mostly past-tense. No mention is made of present advances in Free Energy like Steorn's Orbo, Rossi's eCat, or Joule's 'Liquid Fuel from the Sun' which is already commercially viable. Instead, it shows conventional, capital intensive, low efficiency energy capture systems: solar cells and windmills, which are institutionalized by corporations like GE from which Gamble is divorcing himself.

All in all, not rewarding, like a teaspoon of Thrive in a Gallon of Conspiracy.

"they" keep hiding the truth

Excellent movie about the truth. It keeps bringing in front of us the reason we born: to be happy! To evolve! It present the obstacles (including invisible one) standing in every ones life from reaching an elevating stage. For being sure what will bring the future we need to: learn from the past, live in present with future in mind! And this is exactly what we are not allowed to do! I kindly suggest viewing this movie and judging them at the end via your own soul … and see if it is fair the richest get richer and everyone else no matter …. In steed to have all a place under the sun. If there is a drop of humanity in you … now it is an excellent time to do something.

This one hits the nail on the head, very important and evidence backed information

Truly powerful and important film which shines light into some dark places and shows us that there is another way.

This film exemplifies a choice we now have before each and every one of us, one which will shape the quality of life for countless generations to come after us.

We live in a time where the biggest lie ever perpetrated upon humanity is about to unravel before our eyes. Thrive invites the viewer to become part of the r-Evolution for truth, peace and creating a new civilization on earth without pollution or poverty. In light of overwhelming scientific evidence I think this film and others like it leave us with but a few choices:

1 - We can stay in denial. This choice involves clinging to a comfort zone that placates our xenophobia and/or egocentric assumptions about the universe while attempting to artificially maintain our perception of planetary isolation. This (assuming one has access to the pertinent data) requires an explaining away of what we know deep inside to be truly world changing information.

2 - We can accept this new reality as fact, but allow apathy/fear to guide us (choosing to remain a passive witness on the sideline). All this requires is caring what other people think of us enough to want to 'fit in'.

Or 3 - We can choose to seize this rare opportunity of becoming an active participant in an unprecedented paradigm shift for humanity. This is not easy, and is a choice inevitably met with much resistance, both at home and abroad. Expect all manner of personal attacks, to lose 'friends', and a distinct feeling of inner peace that arises when one acts on what one knows to be true.

When we look back on these years at the events that changed human history forever it will be too late to choose.

During the past six decades over 4000 patents relating to new energy devices have been confiscated and put in a vault for "reasons of national security". U.S. Patent Office has a nine-member committee that screens patents in order to protect "national security". Many of these devices represented breakthroughs in our understanding of physics and "zero point" energy, and had the potential to get this world off of fossil fuels, safely and sustainably.

For anyone who doubts the information presented in this film, I urge you to do the homework for your self and not accept anyone else's second hand opinion. Not one single fact presented in the film has been refuted or successfully debunked.

To those who do not fear ridicule, ostracism and judgment.. I say let us leave this broken paradigm behind and help plant the seeds for a new one to take hold. Let us nourish a new civilization with courage, integrity, compassion, and spiritual knowing so that it may flourish in the light where darkness can never again take hold. Each time you speak openly, concisely and with confidence about this issue you help sow the seeds for that reality to become manifest.

THRIVE lifts the veil on what's REALLY going on in our world by following the money upstream -- uncovering the global consolidation of power in nearly every aspect of our lives. Weaving together breakthroughs in science, consciousness and activism, THRIVE offers real solutions, empowering us with unprecedented and bold strategies for reclaiming our lives and our future.

Please watch this film and become part of the solution.

What is this world coming to?

I am not one to write many reviews, except when strongly compelled to do so.

How could a man like Foster Gamble, who was born into limitless wealth, squander his potential like this?

This whole "documentary" is a farce. A swindle covered with the same stench that clings to people who profess to have healing powers, mind reading ability, clairvoyance or channelling powers. There is no science to be found here. None.

If you are moderately educated stay away. Watching this is very painful.

Humans are evil

I just saw this movie tonight and thought I'd read some reviews here to see what people think. First off, if you are going to debate this film you must be able to write correctly! How come everything I see here looks like it was written by someone who doesn't speak English as a first language? Also, there is a difference between YOUR and YOU'RE.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that. This movie brings up a lot of interesting points and confirms my belief that the super elite have been making us live unhealthy lives and are controlling us. I do not understand why this movie begins with UFO theories and whatnot. That is an entirely different discussion altogether. But I commend this guy for his unapologetic frankness towards how the super rich are ruining everything. People do not realize how bad the US farming industry is and how everything is corrupt and poison. Everything we're fed causes cancer and other diseases and most people don't even realize it. I recommend watching Food, Inc. for information on that. I know this is hastily written but anyway... I am praying for tidal waves
