Your Favorite Martian created YouTube legend Ray William Johnson was one of best things about the classic era of YouTube and i've never been happier to see them return back in 2022. YFM has alot variety of bangers that defined the early 2010s of YouTube. Orphan Tears, Tig O Bitties, Epileptic Techno and more. Their covers and serious songs of phase 2 (along with the funny song) were great too and songs like Somebody i Used to Know is honestly better than the original. Unfortunately due to Maker Studios incompetence, YFM has been retired as well as the planned album. But 10 years Ray revived the project and it going great once again. Gen 2 has been great so far and i'm glad Ray has full rights without a greedy studio. Eff this Job, Verified, This is Why im Single, Date Myself and Damn i'm Ugly are some of my favorites so far. The only thing i really want from this second generation is for Benatar to sing more. Jesse Cale's vocals were probably one of greatest things about this band and it sucks he barely sings in Gen 2. I hope we can hear more of him but over wise i think YFM needs more credit than it gets.
