This one-on-one match (a lot like Combat on Atari 2600) features two rocket ships with one controlled by you and another by the computer (or a friend). At the center, some kind of thing that makes you explode, so don't hit that.

Controls are intentionally sluggish because, well, rocket ships in space, with thrusting capabilities similar to Asteroids. There's a hide or stealth option too that I didn't make much use of.

Graphics are nice for the age, fine pinpoints make everything look high-resolution. A kind of weird aspect is the slowness of shooting, which is a tiny dot projectile that you can almost outrun at a good speed. The computer is a bit of a ham, knowing that by flying quickly in a straight line, looping the screen, he's got good odds of nailing you on most approaches. Still, I was quickly on to him and could peg the enemy with diagonals and timing.

Worthy of play during the day, especially given the options, but redundancy meant this wouldn't be an all-day event even back then. Still, impressive precedent for arcade games.
