Do Paise Ki Dhoop, Chaar Aane Ki Baarish

After ignoring for many weeks, watched it today. Powerful script, beautiful songs and great performance by Rajit Kapoor and Manisha Koirala.

It was recognized worldwide, received not only critics thumbs up but also, numerous accolades in few international film festivals .was premiered and screened in 2009...but it took 10 years to make it available to Indian audience...damn SRK stereotype style Commendable performances by its protagonists, Rajit Kapur and Manisha Koirala...superb directorial debut by Dipti Naval..

Amazing movie, with soulful music -- the movie feels like an era of art has returned. Worth a watch, very mindful and consciously made film with entertainment and life's comedic artwork.Movie bring about the intent of soul based relationship with stranger and how it can transpire in to empathy, love and just pure joy of life. Characters are well defined, interesting casting and deep storytelling.This feels like older movies from the era of Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Raj Kapoor, classic in look and feel. Visually make monsoon of Mumbai just feel joyful. Early music from some of the best talent in Bollywood.

It has done rounds of at least 10 film festivals including preview release at Cannes, it needs to be watched by all generations to feel love and kindness.

The movie deals with the lifestyle and emotions of characters rather than an intrinsic plot. It is quite slow but engaging. There are only 3 characters throughout the film and the movie gears up as the child shows improvement under the upbringing of Debu. The cinematography was brilliant and there are some symbols like the auto with full of yellow balloons. Overall, its a good watch if you have the patience.
