This is actually a "short pilot" for a feature film. As such the acting is decent, the costumes are excellent, directing is good. It's a fine first act. Still, it would have been nice to know what it is going in.

If one understands from the beginning that there will be no resolution or conclusion in this... it's a decent watch.

David Vyle Levi works in the art department where he obviously shines, luckily as a director/writer this is his only work, and hopefully it stays that way...as it did for the last 11 years. Let's be honest, this is not what it wants to be. Props, costumes, Fx and camera are ok, but that's it, story and dialogues are barely bearable, full of cliché of the early 2000s or 1990s. Acting is as good as direction and script allow. As a first episode of a SciFi-show it could somehow pass, if the show then gets a massive upgrade in storytelling and direction. But it did never happen, and where this maybe unjust with several other pilots, here it's not. Sorry to sound harsh, I appreciate the hard work and efforts and money spent, but it cannot be always lead to a masterwork.
