Stolichani v poveche

It started very promising - a fresh new characters, fresh new fates which were developing, good soundtrack, a lot of fun moments and jokes.. Also, some very famous actors, musicians and sport personalities took part in it.

And after some years it has become banal, I started to feel I've had enough of it. I stopped watching it somewhere around 2015-16...

I didn't even know it's still running, for 14 years... I have found out just now when I saw an episode on local cable TV. I kept watching just to realize that some of the characters has become annoying, and their play isn't the same as in the beginning. Seems like the actors are also tired of this show, but doing it only for the money...

The sparkle is gone for real, they should stop making more seasons.

Despite the many shortcomings for me, this is the best Bulgarian series made after 90 years.

A lot of fun, a lot of laughter, and a very good acting. There are many comments about our society that anyone can relate to: corruption, media, abuse of power, etc... I am looking forward to see more series. I recommend it!

I started watching "Stolichani v poveche" more than 9 years ago but its topics, stories and moral lessons are still valid for our Bulgarian reality in 2020. Season 1 is pure perfection that captures the beauty of Bulgarian nature, the beauty of Bulgarian women and all amazing aspects of Bulgarian comedy. It shows how different are Bulgarians growing, working and travelling all around the world (the character of Andrei Lyutov is a good example for such individual) in comparison with Bulgarians living constantly in the small city near Sofia (all the other characters). You experience their dreams, their fears, their hatred towards the rivals, their funny reluctance to cooperate.

"Stolichani v poveche" has 3 main storylines about love, constant treasure hunt and fight for political power between the families. It is funny, dramatic, most of the lines are extremely good and the acting is great. "Stolichani v poveche" is one of the best Bulgarian TV series ever and I totally recommend it!
