This is the first film I've seen from the series but from what little information I was able to gather up it appears that each entry would tell three quick stories. The first story here is called "Chemical Magic" and talks about the making of plastics and why they're so important to everyday items like a phone or a car. The second story is "Hare and Hound" and takes a look at greyhound racing and its rules. Finally we get "Liquid Enchantment" and this here goes over perfume and the amount of money it brings in. It's impossible to judge and entire series off of one short but what was on display here certainly didn't impress me any. The biggest problem is that the narration (by three people) is rather dry and it was really hard to grab my attention and old my interest. The first story was mildly interesting but we've seen so many better documentaries on the process being discussed, although you should pay close attention to the chemical checklist of what's being used and notice that many of them are now considered very dangerous. The second story was also mildly interesting as we get to hear about the rules of racing.
