What is the point of stocking up on all of that food if it is going to expire in a few weeks?

If they really want to save money, just buy enough food for your family for the week!

Do not spend all of your time hunting for coupons, it's a waste of time!

Another thing, it makes them selfish and thoughtless because now other customers will not be able to buy the product that you purchased because you bought everything!

Do they get some thrill from this?

If yes, do they like depriving other people of the stuff they need for their families?

Why spend all day hunting for coupons when you could be spend quality time with your family?

I do not think their kids enjoy doing any of this!

Extreme Couponing is a scripted television show that portrays the idea of getting the most bang for your buck through the use of coupons. In Season 1 a woman from Maryland acquires coupons and manages to attain $2000.00 of groceries for only $100.00 (yeah right!). Also, in season one a woman of Arizona is able to feed a family of six on $50 per week (A little bit more realistic). In Season 2, a mother is able to feed her family of seven and 200 parishioners for below $100 a month and the list goes on. There have been some questions as to the show's coupon credibility but this really provides more of a challenge for the everyday citizen to shop smart and is highly entertaining as well. I've tried some of the techniques displayed on the show, but in Canada you are usually limited to 1 coupon per item, and there aren't any "cash back" coupon deals like those displayed on the show.
