A story which had protential to be a great family drama around a dog, two friends and a girl, was distracted by an unnecessary pondicherry chapter.

First half was great with the story set in typical Keral village area, with some relatable incidents to the real life involving a notorious dog who was adapted by a boy to impress a girl he was after. Real conflicts were started to create among family members and the villagers because of the dog. On the other side, a real love story was started to blossom because of that same dog. On top of all those, a real friendhip was trying to balance all those incidents tactically with funny moments.

But suddenly, that story stopped half way and whole another incidents were shown in Pondicherry which was not good for me. Either the movie should have continued the first half story or first half should have been built for the second half story.

Nevertheless, Naslen and Matthew Thomas plus the dog made the movie watchable till the end. 😊

I really enjoyed this movie from the start to the end,there is no single portion I felt any lag or disappointment! As a pet lover i thoroughly enjoyed the performance of Neymar, casting and everything was so perfect kudos to the entire team behind this movie and a special love for the woof baby who played Neymar.so my point is if you wanna watch a delightful movie with your family or friends this is a perfect choice. This movie has everything friendship, love, bonding, humour.i really like how they kept it very subtle and natural....and it never failed to touch us emotionally with some scenes.

Entertaining movie! Must watch for all dog lovers and animal lovers too.

Not a great script or screenplay but definitely much better than a lot of unwanted movies!

First half is pretty good but wanes away slightly in the second half. The dog Neymar has been trained brilliantly and also lets out a message to all humans that being kind to each other is greater than any individual gain or achievement. Absolutely well acted by all the cast but the script could have done more justice and given them better dialogues and scenes given how good their acting prowess is!!!

We need to have such movies!! Must watch!

Really enjoyed this lovely movie. Story of two close friends who are together in everything. One of them loves a girl, and as part of getting close to her, gets a dog. He is Neymar. And Neymar is phenomenal. I mean I am no dog lover, but this dog should get National award. He is fantastic. How they made him act like that is beyond me. Neymar causes some issues in the community, and Mathew's dad gives him away. And the two friends realize he is in Pondicherry and take off. Over there, story takes an even interesting twist with the dog competition. Thank you Sudhi Maddison for such a feel good story. The fathers of the kids coming and renewing their friendship is also awesome.
