Barbie: A Fairy Secret

In this incredible adventure, Barbie discovers that there are fairies secretly living among us! And when Ken is kidnapped by a fairy who decides to marry him, Barbie and her friends must enter the amazing world of fairies to rescue him! Will they be able to find him in time, or will Ken be trapped in Gloss Angeles forever? Cute, like the whole Barbie franchise, I thought that whoever was going to be a trashy male scrotum boy, but it's not that he's cute, delicate, silly, generous and polite, as a real Ken should be, waiting for the 2023 movie with all the their versions of Ken and Barbies...

I've got two daughters, ages 6 and 9. They both enjoyed it, particularly my 6 year old who was jumping up off the couch because she was totally getting into the movie. The thing I noticed the most was how much they were smiling and giggling throughout the entire film. (Isn't that what these films are all about?

I thought the voice acting was fine, and the computer animation was on par with all the other BARBIE movies we have in our collection.

I asked them what their score would be for this, and they both said "It was AWESOME!" So, I give it TEN STARS for its intended audience.

The bottom line is that NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THIS MOVIE CONSIDERING THE TARGET AUDIENCE, AND BOTH OF MY DAUGHTERS GREATLY ENJOYED THIS FILM!

"Barbie: A Fairy Secret" is the story of how Barbie discovers that fairies really do exist. When a fairy princess captures her boyfriend Ken, Barbie along with her costar, Raquelle, and two of Barbie's stylists, head out to rescue him from Gloss Angeles, a floating town filled with fairies. I really like the animation in this movie, especially how each of the characters are drawn. Barbie's eyes glisten like jewels and get me into the fairy mood. Each scene bursts with color, like their hangout Wally's.

I also love how every piece of clothing has a modern twist. I wish I could have two fairies as my personal stylists.

The movie also has great music that makes me want to dance.

Barbie is already friends with her two fashion stylists at the beginning of the movie, but is uneasy around her rival Raquelle. Raquelle is jealous of Barbie, so what will happen when they get twisted up in this magical world together?

When Ken is forced to marry fairy princess Graziella he realizes how much he loves Barbie but lots of trouble stands in their way. Don't worry, because Barbie will do anything to get Ken back.

Girls ages two to ten will really enjoy this movie filled with friends, fashion and adventure. Will Raquelle and Barbie ever be friends? How will they get into the magical world? Barbie: A Fairy Secret is great! The story it tells builds well and is a fun adventure from start to finish. The voice acting is terrific along with the music. The animation is gorgeous and the rivalry to friendship relationship between Raquelle and Barbie is honestly my favorite part. Overall, it's an enjoyable film.

It's one of those movies that leave you wanting more. The development between Barbie and Raquel was better than I expected. I liked that it didn't just focus on Barbie. Ken's little segments were always a joy. I do wish we got more world building and logistics but this is a Barbie movie. The fashion fairies were fun. I will say I want more of this and I was left with questions about the villain. I feel like they could've done more with her character too. I think this is a really fun and funny movie to watch with friends. The characters are intriguing. Ken was not all that though. TLDR really good, wanted more but that doesn't matter.
