फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
The soundtrack is really excellent for a low budget film, and I couldn't help but love the character of Ranger Chris.
Ridiculous film, but I found myself actually getting involved in the development of the story.
Great choice for an 80's style camp slasher flick, but without the brutal sexism.
Also, the acting was for the most part surprisingly convincing. The party scene reminded me of a slip n slide commercial.
Standard 80's style filming. It reminds me a bit of Garth Merenghi's dark place. They use era specific special effects. The blood squirting was expertly shot.
I think it's only available on VHS - they really stuck religiously to the 80's theme, even with the release!
I happen to have one, so I was able to watch it, but I hope it comes out on DVD.

With seemingly every horror film being remade to death (and becoming more and more boring), finally something new comes along. A slasher film with the Easter bunny as the killer. Did you get that? Read it again. Someone actually pulled it off- and it works! It's shot on video too, which adds to the movie's feel rather than hinder it. I've seen a lot of shot on video movies and I really dug what they were doing here. There's a lot of comedy in the movie too, but it's never the kind that spoofs horror films or gets stupid. In fact the comedy is the best stuff in the film. You really get the sense that these guys took a camera out on a weekend and just started shooting... which helps make it feel like a home movie but it's edited tight and never gets boring. It gets pretty intense towards the end too and even though we never doubt who the killer is, it's fun to watch the characters figure it out. Finally I have a new horror for Easter!
This was hilariously bad. The kills, acting, directing, writing, blood splatter etc.the ranger was not needed in this movie but was there for comedy I guess?. Don't waste your time with this film. The music lol omg the music.
There are so many long periods of silence and when they do talk it's very low. I had to keep turning up the volume and 2 seconds later the crappy music kicks in at full blast. The bunny was funny but he's barely in the movie. When he kills the old guy I actually laughed. There were far more times that I cringed and felt embarrassed for everyone involved.
If you're a fan of Richard Moog, this film (his first) isn't quite what you'd expect. It's still a low budget horror film, obviously, but missing are his disdain of storytelling and filmmaking conventions. Shockingly, this film proves Moog to be quite conversant in both.
It's disorienting to see a Moog film with actual props, trained actors, scripted dialogue, even pacing, a real location, wardrobes, and plausible subtext, but that's what this film has. More surprising still, they all work. It doesn't capture the anarchic glee of his later films, but unlike those, it still functions as an earnest horror film.
Credit must also be given to the ensemble cast, so many of whom are so likable and so different from what we're used to seeing in movies. That's something this does have in common with Moog's later films: his eye for casting unusual talent.
Better horror films exist, but Easter Bunny Bloodbath remains worthy of your investment.
