फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
I have been a big fan of Scooby Doo ever since I was like 6 years old. I adore the original series and The Scooby Doo show but the rest of the incarnations have been hit(Mystery Incorporated, The New Scooby Doo Movies and contrary to what I've seen and heard about it The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo was much better than I remembered) and miss(Shaggy and Scooby Doo:Get a Clue and the episodes of The Scooby and Scrapy Doo Show that had half the gang missing).
I have also enjoyed most of the movies(I think my least favourite, Monster of Mexico, was even then was just mediocre), my favourites overall are Witch's Ghost, Goblin King and Zombie Island, but for me this and Abracadabra Doo were two of the better recent entries. If I had any complaints, it was that I would've loved it to have been longer and also I wasn't always crazy on the animation of Fred.
Other than that, the animation was vibrant and colourful with some very nice touches of atmospheric darkness to it too. I also loved the style, it has some of the What's New Scooby Doo style(which I personally don't mind) while also having a little of the classic style of the original series. The music was great too, the song choices were well written and not pointless at all and the incidental music was haunting while never obtrusive.
I was also very impressed with the writing, there is enough of the quirky humour to captivate while also having room for some thrills and scares. Scooby Doo! Camp Scare also has a very entertaining story with the camp setting bringing back some nostalgia, it is well-paced while not dragging too much in the middle and stays true to the stories of the series incarnations before it. The final solution is thrilling and very unexpected.
The characters appeal too. Shaggy and Scooby still make me smile, while the Woodsman is a scary and memorable villain especially with the appearance. The voice acting is solid from all involved, Frank Welker still shows he has plenty of versatility while Matthew Lillard goofy and likable Shaggy also manages to be the biggest surprise.
All in all, love Scooby Doo and I enjoyed Scooby Doo! Camp Scare. 8/10 Bethany Cox

Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare (2010) is a movie I recently watched with my daughter on HBOMAX. The storyline for this picture follows our favorite mystery solvers as they head back to Fred's old stomping grounds at a camp he grew up attending and he is now a camp counselor at. As Fred and the gang try and revitalize the camp and give the camp attendees a great time a couple legendary spirits seems to have arisen threatening to end camp early. The gang will have to get to the bottom of things if they hope to save the camp and camp attendee's summer. This movie is directed by Ethan Spaulding (Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge) and contains the voices of Matthew Lillard (Scream), Grey Griffin (Transformers), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Tara Strong (Batman: Killing Joke) and Mindy Cohn (A Nice Girl Like You. The backstories of the ghosts are entertaining and well delivered and I really enjoyed the animation. They also did a good job of displaying how nostalgia can impact your perspectives. 😂 The stories and depiction of the rival camp were funny too. The settings were fun and the dialogue was hilarious as always. Overall this is a fun movie for Scooby-Doo fans with the regular humor and hijinks. I recommend giving this a shot and would score it a 6.5-7/10.
While this 2010 animated Scooby-Doo movie does follow the very same blueprint that every other Scooby-Doo movie is made by, then it turns out that "Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare" is actually enjoyable.
I suppose it is the atmosphere to the storyline that worked out so well. At least it made it more unique and interesting for me.
The art style is classic Scooby-Doo, so you know what you are getting. Smooth animations and a very likeable drawing style. So thumbs up for that particular familiarity.
Well, essentially you know exactly what you are getting every time you sit down to watch a Scooby-Doo animated movie. But hey, isn't that part of that special Scooby-Doo charm?
What is also great about these animated Scooby-Doo features is the returning voice actors, with the likes of Frank Welker, Mindy Cohn, Matthew Lillard and Grey Griffin, And as a special treat, then "Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare" also has Mark Hamill on the cast list.
If you are a fan of the Scooby-Doo franchise, then the 2010 animated movie "Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare" is definitely one that you will like.

Throughout my experience in cinema, I have never had the pleasure of viewing a motion picture nor an animation of this caliber. I have spent years looking for the best film, and I must tell you that I have never experienced 77 minutes as good as these, possibly even in my life. The developing of the both and the character makes this the one of if not the best films you will ever have the opportunity of viewing. The plot was beautifully written by an amazing director, the shocking twist to reveal the villain. The beautiful animation of this film is not to be overlooked either, the smooth transitions very much surprised me. Overall this is the best film I have ever seen, and above all I beg you to watch this. Scooby Doo: Camp Scare consists of 77 minutes of pure perfection.
I recently rewatched this film with my younger brother for the first time since I was a little kid. If you've ever seen Scooby-Doo before you know what I mean when I say there's a nostalgia overdrive along with a lot of fun when you watch this film, but I'm not sure it would be possible to watch without the nostalgia the way it was when I was a little kid. The plot revolves on Scooby and the gang becoming counselors at a summer camp, and (as the stereotype goes) all good summer camps have good campfire stories. The scarier the better. But when all the monsters from the stories come to life, they must find out if they are real monsters or if there is someone behind them, and if there is someone behind them, then who is it? It is well animated, though I can't imagine that would hold up on the big screen, as this was a direct-to-video film. The story doesn't have much depth, but follows the classic children's mystery-horror formula, but this movie follows that formula in an excellent and entertaining way. At the end of the day, not a bad movie to watch the week before camp.
