Bill Burr: Let It Go

Bill Burr visits San Francisco for this 2010 special. He was his typical misanthropic self. He had hilarious venom for people at airports, Oprah, and his girlfriend. In fact, maybe he's to blame for COVID-19. He openly supplicated for a "plague" as nature's wildfire for humans.

His best jokes were about automated check-outs, men not being able to cry, his rescue dog pitbull, and how Black people can get away with racially charged speech. Overall the special was mostly introspective as Bill Burr eclipsed the age of 40.

The funniest man in comedy is at it again in this hilarious stand-up special where he discusses topics ranging from the elderly to rescuing dogs to racial differences in his famed maniacal manner. Now not everyone will love his style and I imagine quite a few people will hate it. He is very "rough around the edges" in a sense, uses profanity in abundance, and is not afraid to be controversial. However, if you're not offended during the one-hour special, it's likely because you're laughing your face off and enjoying every crazed joke and deranged thought. Bill Burr is definitely one of a kind and has a delivery unlike any other comedian.

I kid you not, this guy has been one of the most refreshing comedians in so so so SO flippin' long...

This special sent me to the bathroom twice, I literally was wetting my pants. You have to be a certain age to appreciate his humor (hey, 'progressives' ... for all your tolerance, how about a little tolerance for people who are old and were taught differently than YOU??) Oh, can't have THAT.

Just the other day I was wigging out on my FB page about how nobody has a sense of humor anymore, everyone is terrified of saying/laughing at ANYTHING...and then I see THIS guy. Thank You Mr. Burr.

Also ck out F is for Family. If you are a child of the 70s, it's right up your alley.

Burr seems to be on a social Darwinist kick with this special, laying into the freakish and weaker elements of society. And it totally works for him; he's one of those comics that can make the annoying everyday funny. It's easy to scream about something, but to make it a funny voice? He's got it down.

Everyone from fat people to Oprah (and mothers) get ripped a new one. I've seen this special more times than I can count, but the way he's able to take caustic and make it funny is a true gift.

Never gets old.

This was definitely unexpectedly hilarious, normally don't like male comedians, I've always believed women are naturally funnier than men. But Bill Burr really made me laugh pretty hard with this, definitely watching it again; yes its offensive, but its offensive, done right. It is purely and authentically funny. Oh man and just wait til you get to the part where he talks about sandwiches!! Don't believe me, just give it a watch.
