Rak Diao

This show is awesome. The acting is great; it is funny, it's non-stop entertainment all the way through. The only negative is that it stopped at episode 15. Please One31, give us a Season 2 so we can see Rak and Diao together again with their brilliant supporting cast and production team.

Diao realizes his love really late in the series, however, there are lots of quite romantic cliché moments way before that.

The leads' banter is hilarious most of the time (a bit over the top mean at points too though). 🤣 Nevertheless, payback follows later on when Rak becomes cautious at Diao's nice attitude towards him after realizing he (possibly) loves Rak.

Dao, Diao's sister, on the other hand really does not take a hint at all. She relentlessly flirts with Rak despite his lack of interest while constantly pushing various girls as potential girlfriends in Diao's direction. It is quite funny for a series, but also quite overbearing, becomes annoying rather fast, and does boarder on sexual harassment concerning Rak.

The office workers are also very funny, exaggerated characters with tendencies to inappropriate behavior that is also only funny for a series.

The way Rak denies those advances though, is really awesome. Luckily, the characters at least have a sense for when to stop (at least for a while).

It's the shortest sitcom I've ever seen. We thought it would be a full year, but it ended after 15 episodes. This sitcom has brought me so much joy that I hope to shoot a second season soon.

Rak Diao is one of the best dramas in my ranking. It exactly surpassed the old-fashion Thai Y series as there was romantic love more than that simply direct one beneath the moving and subtle life plots. We audience can truly feel and enjoy these with happiness and warmth.

Diao is the most cute character in Rak Diao (in my heart). Specially he keeps learning things and growing mentally. He shows great responsibility of being side of Dao. Though he is sometimes headlong, he tries to be better in work and life both. I am deeply in obsession of CUTE Diao.

Rak is definitely the dreaming boyfriend with capabilities of cooking, sports and good work. He is gentle, patient and rational. NOBODY fails to love him!! Rak treats Diao so gentle and nice and he is always there when Diao is sad or hindered.

As for the whole sitcom, it is beyond the Y content. It shows not only romantic love but family ties, friendships, puppy love and principles of life. I enjoyed the love chemical atmosphere between Rak and Diao and was also touched by other things and learned something.

The happiness and warmth Rak Diao brings to me are unforgettable - No one minute is boring and I kept laughing when watched some plots. I do hope there will be another season or even more to keep telling the lovely story. Anyway, the passing time with Rak Diao was worth. Wish best to Earth, Win and the whole production team.

This show is a GEM and I can't understand how people are not talking about it!

The overall plot is simple but brilliant, every episode is extremely entertaining and the acting is superb. Win especially (Diao) is an incredibly talented actor and at my now 4th rewatch I haven't grown tired of seeing the range of funny expressions he can act out, he's just amazing.

The first episode might be a bit hard to go through at first as there are some things very specific to Thai shows that can be quite distracting (e.g. The many sounds effects) but don't let it put you off. This show is not only funny, it's incredibly heartwarming and comforting, and I really can't recommend it enough!
