Boynextdoor’s energy is genuinely infectious.

The six-member K-pop group, hailing from the Zico-founded, Hybe sub-label Koz Entertainment, are only two years into their career, but seeing the group live, one would imagine they’ve been doing it all their lives. At last year’s Kcon L.A., the boy group emerged as a standout amongst the weekend’s stacked lineup.

Back with their fourth EP, No Genre, Boynextdoor has found its groove — both sonically and as a group. The album’s lead single, “I Feel Good,” is a charismatic and groovy almost-three-minute journey. It’s an example of the boy group at their best, similar to their dynamic debut, “One and Only.”

As the group prepares for their biggest stage yet — a Lollapalooza performance slot — they say they’re going full steam ahead. Below, the Boynextdoor speaks with The Hollywood Reporter about No Genre, preparing for Lollapalooza and how their teamwork has grown.

Canadian thrash heroes Anvil have announced a Spring 2025 US tour with support from comedian Don Jamieson and New Jersey band Midnite Hellion.

Dates kick off April 17th in Portland, Maine, and run through May 10th in Flint, Michigan. The East Coast/Midwest jaunt will hit big cities such as Baltimore, Orlando, Atlanta, Nashville, and Chicago along the way. Tickets for select dates are available via via Ticketmaster.

Over four decades into their career, Anvil keep on chugging. The cult metal band is coming off the 2024 release of its latest album and 20th studio effort, One and Only, and shows no signs of slowing down after its resurgence following the acclaimed 2008 documentary Anvil: The Story of Anvil.

Adele recently closed out her long-running “Weekends with Adele” residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. To commemorate the 100-show run, the singer has announced her Live in Las Vegas vinyl box set, which captures the concerts in their entirety and includes other extras.

Estimated to ship in early February 2025, the limited edition Weekends with Adele Live in Las Vegas 3xLP package features the entire two-hour setlist on 180g vinyl, a 56-page photo book that folds out to mirror the stage, and confetti directly from the show. Pick up your copy here.

On Monday, Adele fondly looked back at the residency in an Instagram post. “Las Vegas you’ve been so good to me,” she wrote. “This residency went on to mirror what 30 was about — lost and broken to healed and thriving! Seems so fitting in the end. The only thing left to do in this case is move on.

Adele kicked off her 10-night concert residency in Munich, Germany on Friday, August 2nd, performing before a capacity crowd of 80,000.

The singer took the stage at Messe München, which has been temporarily dubbed “Adele Arena,” following $130 million in renovations that included the installation of a 721-by-98-foot LED screen, a 43,000-square foot stage, and an English pub.

The setlist varied from the one she has playing as part of her “Weekends with Adele” residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. While the Munich crowd still got its share of greatest hits, Adele also treated the audience to performances of “I’ll Be Waiting,” “All I Ask,” and a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love.” She also sang “Chasing Pavements,” from her debut album 19, live for the first time in seven years.

Anvil have announced their 20th studio album, One and Only, arriving June 28th. The cult thrash-metal heroes also shared the video for lead single “Feed Your Fantasy.”

The Canadian band keeps on chugging, quite literally, on the new song. The hard rock stomp and toe-tapping rhythms set up an inspiring anthem that could be about Anvil themselves, a band that never gave up on its heavy metal aspirations: “Make it all come true / Is what you do / Loving it too / Through and through.”

That Steve “Lips” Kudlow and company are surrounded by some of their biggest fans for the live performance music video drives those lyrics home. The positive energy in the clip is palpable.

“We’re more like our old selves than we’ve been in years,” Lips said of the new album, which is meat-and-potatoes old-school Anvil. “We’ve dropped all our more modern aspects, particularly the ’90s version of Anvil.

Fish out of water comedy film “Jonny Keep Walking” climbed to the top of the mainland China box office in its second weekend on release. Previous winner, “Shining for One Thing” dimmed quickly and tumbled to fifth place.

Parallax, one of the few indie film sales firms in China has picked up two of this year’s best performing mainland Chinese movies.

Ahead of the winter festival and markets season, Parallax has taken on comedy-drama “Post Truth” and family-oriented comedy-fantasy “Five Hundred Miles.”

Directed and co-written by Dong Chengpeng (aka Da Peng), “Post Truth” is the story of a cemetery plot salesman who is released from prison and seeks to clear the online rumors of sexual misconduct by his deceased client. The film stars Dong and leading female actor Li Xueqin.

Dong previously directed hit 2015 title “Jian Bing Man and another 2023 title “One and Only.”

Produced by Ruyi Entertainment with backing from ticketing agencies Taopiaopiao and Maoyan, “Post Truth” released in March and earned over $100 million in mainland cinemas.

It’s Monday, and she rolls into one of her favorite Beverly Hills restaurants for lunch, makeup-free with her hair pulled back. She’s in an oversized, comfy, long black coat, and the only real giveaway are her long sharp black nails. And, of course, her screeching laugh.

But then her song, the sweeping ballad “One and Only,” from her 21 era, comes on.

Enhypen will dive into the Pokémon universe with this new collaboration.

Hybe and The Pokémon Company revealed Enhypen, the seven-member K-Pop group, will partner with the 'Pokémon Music Collective' to release a new single called "One and Only." The 'Pokémon Music Collective' features music inspired by the iconic sounds of the Pokémon series video game universe. The single, along with its accompanying music video, will debut on July 12.

Adele has announced that she’s extended her residency at Caesars Palace with concerts planned through November 4. Her residency is currently on hiatus but will return on June 16.

“Playing to 4,000 people for 34 nights is not enough. I know that, so I am coming back,” Adele told the audience in what was scheduled to be her last Las Vegas performance.

The singer also stated that the upcoming performances would be recorded for a live concert film.

Adele began the first leg of her residency last November. This came after a sudden postponement due to an unsatisfactory stage setup and Covid-19 complications. The singer said that this time period was the worst moment in her career. She later added that the first couple of months were difficult, but she was proud of herself for sticking it through.
