Saw this at a screening in Toronto, Canada on Sep. 22, 2011, where the director was in attendance.

The visuals were quite good, especially the use of time-lapse and wide angle lenses. But the scripted dialogue, imitating a radio call-in show, was abominable, to the point of the person beside me whispering "Is it just me or is the dialogue really corny?".

I think the film will be appealing to those with an interest in seeing the goings on of a day in Toronto, but it may find limited appeal elsewhere.

Unless...

Unless the dialogue is totally redone.

Redone as in completely gutting the über-phony radio host with painful "radio guy" voice, and sans amateurish callers-in. Speaking of which, it was a bit suspicious how they all had the exact same tonal quality, i.e., obviously altered EQ settings attempting to emulate the "phone sound".
