Letters at Christmas

Even as a Christmas movie or a Lifetime knockoff, this movie is flat out terrible.

I suppose they thought having Dean Cain (whoop) or someone that worked on Star Wars as their cinematographer would help to whitewash Jim Burleson's obvious lack of talent.

The script and dialog are terrible. The finishes product only proves that besides the fact that Jim Burleson does not know how to make a movie, he does not know how to write.

Bad dialog, forced situations, cliches, contrived and predictable plot... blah, blah, blah. I cannot believe that $3 million dollars (yeah, right!) was spent on this turkey. Not even a fraction of that. It would take 10 times that amount to repair that dilapidated hotel this filmed at.

This was a terrible debut as a writer/auteur, and it's obvious that the only thing giving "Dim" any credibility are his comic conventions.

When a film captures the essence of real-life struggles, portraying the depth of pain, the flicker of hope, and the resilience required to overcome the toughest challenges, it resonates on a profound level. When this journey unfolds within the framework of a family, it becomes even more impactful. And when you add the warmth and joy of a Christmas setting, it's hard not to fall in love with it! I definitely recommend adding this one to your family's holiday movie rotation! A unique and inspiring tale that shows how far love can carry you. We are excited about what is to come from Jim Burleson!

This is far from the worst thing I have ever seen but it's far from being The Godfather. The biggest consensus from all the reviews is the dialog or the writing in general. Everything is completely predictable and the dialog is clunky and awkward with zero character development. I'm unsure what method was used in developing the script, it just seemed that the end goal was to get this done asap and the movie is a complete wreck as a result. The acting is quite stale and the camera shots seem kind of uninspired. So-so production, but I seem to doubt the 3 million dollar price tag that is listed.

This movie is great a must watch I give it a 10 so very Proud of one of our own .Mr. Jim Burleson this shows just how talented you are and your movie is Exactly what we all need here in this day and age hope and Love you have all our support excited to see more movies from you Highly recommend A feel good movie restores Faith in what matters , l especially enjoyed the characters and story the bonus was seeing places I recognize Home you can't help but fall in love with this story , The hope it gives you.the only hard part for me was when it was over .l look forward to more Movies 🎬 Mr Jim Burleson.

This is such a perfect film for this time of year. Forgiveness and love. The perfect holiday movie!! Enjoy with the whole family. Great job to cast and crew. A movie to truly be proud of!! Once you start you can't turn it off. This is now part of my yearly Holiday collection. Miracle on 34th, a Christmas story, it's a wonderful life, Charlie Brown Christmas. Now Letters at Christmas. I don't want to spoil it for you so I am trying to not reveal any part. Please go enjoy this, instant classic, with the whole family. Fall in love with the meaning of Christmas all over again!!!
