Pathetic movie. Whole story,twist,plot everything is conveyed through verbal Diarrhoea by mohanlal and poorly tried to convey a message. Horrible directions never expected from a director like vyshak ,a good tread spoiled by director and try to make it mass unnecessarily that's why the film utterly failed in box office.

Still not understanding why they brought so many people with good star value in unimportant characters. For eg Jagapathi babu,Ganesh, Siddique,lena The movie is shot too unrealistic way too. A movie not worth watching a total waste of time though this is a short movie which will be over in 2 hours.

Pathetic first half, felt like a soap opera. Everything changed all of a sudden in the 2nd half with some twist elements.

Lots of police casts who were like some jokers walking here and there for 'investigation' for no specific reason.

New kind of storyline, Honey Rose got a good role to showcase her acting skills.

At the end, some quality is lacking. Also the name Monster didn't suite that much to a movie like this. Still it's an one time watch. It's Okay to come late to this movie and we can purposefully skip the first half and save some time.

The movie is not a masterpiece but it's a good watch.

It was interesting until the interval. Sexual content and gore scenes are in the movie and its U/A certified, I wonder how. It was embarrassing to watch this movie with my family. Biased rating.

Poor screenplay and acting even though the casting includes renowned actors.orstest among worsts.. Mohanlal's value is going down by acting in these kind of cheap movies. Poor jokes and worst acting by Acting king. Script writer made mohanlal as a worst comedian in this. Please don't expect this 60+ legend to act in such funny roles as such Nadodikkaat, Sanmanassullavarkk samadhanam , Vellanagalude Nadu etc.

Malyalam film Review: Monster streaming on Disney+ Hotstar

Story: A couple Bhamini & Chandra who run a Taxi service franchise and are in a spot of bother financially, are celebrating their first wedding anniversary with their daughter ,when a customer- the whimsical & quirky Lucky Singh enters their lives to change it forever. At first he seems to be whimsical, however there seem to be more sinister happenings going on in the background which are revealed in due course.

Mohanlal as Lucky Singh has done a lot of hamming in the first 1 hr of the film. A Punjabi speaking malyalam, adbhut 😁... It gets on ur nerves after some time . However if you can bear the tirade for 60 mins, that's when things heat up and the real film starts. The twist just before the interval is awesome and literally hits you hard. 2nd half is fast paced and the climax too is different.

The first half is a bit streched and could have been cut down drastically. Especially Mohanlal's scenes as Lucky Singh can irritate you after a while.

I am a big fan of Mohanlal, yet felt a bit let down by this film. Not his greatest work. Watch it for the 2nd half where most of the action happens. Not bad.. but cud have been better!!

Going with 2.5/5 for this .. adios 🙂!!

😰 Monster had a much more sizzling title than story...It was disappointing that the movie just used Mohanlal for publicity's sake as there was no solid content

DELICIOUS

-Honey Rose has evolved; in the past, her performances have always been safe. In Monster, she was fragile, firm, and emotional

-The fighting choreographer deserves praise for fashioning some jaw-dropping moves, especially in the final fight scene of the movie. That 'walk on the wall' was like 😲

BLAND

-Please explain the need for the intro song to have sexual lyrics. Completely disrupted the mood😱

-The sound engineering was very ADR-ish

-Lucky Singh reminded us of Mohanlal's role in 12th Man. They were both obnoxious and loud, you could tell the behavior was faked to later unveil another face

-Monster was one of those revenge tales we've seen many times before; obviously, Mohanlal was cast to entice viewers as his character was unnecessarily the center of attention

-The screenplay was predictable; we could tell the end from the beginning based on how awkwardly some characters behaved

-Jagapathi Babu wasn't well utilized for an actor of his caliber; he basically just stood in an area with no strong lines to deliver, appearing aimless and uncomfortable.
