Body of Proof

After watching the first few episodes I wasn't sure if I'd bother with any more. Initially I found Megan Hunt annoying, with her colleges too weak. It felt like a poor version of house.

After the halfway mark in the first season I noticed the character development and started to like most of the support cast. There's a decent level of comedy and I suppose we're seeing Megan learn how to deal emotionally with others.

Yes the show is formulaic, but then these days what show isn't. For an hour of my time I get a decent drama, a few laughs, and the odd smile. I'm looking forward to seeing how the character develop further nd hop we'll get a season 3.

I love this show! Just discovered it on Hulu and have totally binged it. I kept wondering why it didn't survive (see what I did there) until Season 3. What the heck? Axing 3 main characters and replacing them with 1 dishrag actor, terrible storylines, more graphic content...no wonder it got cancelled. How could the show not flatline 😁 when such drastic changes are made? Watch 1&2, skip 3. That's my advice.

I love Dana Delany and I love crime shows....this show delivers in a similar way Desperate Housewives and the such do, unbelievable in certain aspects but thoroughly enjoyable at the same time.

I take some issue with the stiletto heels and the autopsies performed with the male cast members in a hair net and Miss Delany performing the main tasks with hers long and flowing.... but of course she looks great doing it ;)

The characters are fun and likable and the show has potential, I will continue to watch for the entertainment value, but don't expect too much complexity or originality.

We started watching this series during the pandemic because of a couple of episodes of Castle in which Delany appeared. She was very good and low key as an FBI agent.

The series began with a blustery performance of an out of control, abusive, self-absorbed M. E. with tons of baggage. As with most series the characters become more bizarre as the seasons roll on. Unlike with us ordinary folk who try to correct our interpersonal shortcomings, TV characters tend to become more exaggerated.

We made it through the 2 1/2 seasons, but I trying wanted Dr. Hunt to be one of the casualties in the finale. One of the most irritating characters I ever watched.

The first two seasons were good. The last season was garbage, not because of the change in cast (sad to see the guy go, glad to see the girl go), but because he producer's went out of their way to make the episodes more like mini horror movies which is not what the show is about. Also, the arrogance of Megan Hunt was a turnoff throughout the run of the series. Like, it was too much and I disliked her more and more.
