Solo comedian Tokiura arrives at Shonan Theater, a place where comedians with no future are exiled. Amagen performs for an audience of two. Hebitani tries to ask Tokiura about a past incident. Tokiura performs a surreal skit by himself.
Tokiura and Shima form a comedy duo called Exodus, but the two have completely different approaches to comedy. When the comedians discover the name of a popular producer on the reservation list for the next day, Narumiya looks at Shima.
Narumiya begins to be frequently invited to make TV appearances. Hebitani plans to appear with him. Genta discovers Narumiya has written many critical comments about Hebitani in his joke book. Shima and Narumiya get into a heated argument.
Wanno and Inukai work hard to create material to win an award race, but during the performance, Inukai's phone rings. Shima asks Wanno to help prepare a party, but he says he's too busy to attend, and won't allow Inukai to attend either.
Amagen perform their first manzai, but their material is poorly received. Genta, the oldest in the theater, has an outdated sense of humor. Tokiura tells Amano that they might find success doing manzai, but Amano responds harshly.
Rafutube's Narumiya critiques Hebitani's material, secretly irritating him. Hebitani goes surfing alone while the others discuss Rafutube's partnership. When he doesn't show up the next day, the others become worried and search for him.
Shonan Theater has been slowly gaining more customers. Suddenly, poltergeist-like phenomena start occurring during the sets, scaring away audiences. Tokiura points out that nothing happens when Amagen performs and Amano becomes defensive.
The comedians are overjoyed to learn the theater will be closing. Mogi, a ticket collector, is taken aback by their reaction. Wano and Inukai decide to have a wrap-up party and everyone works to fill the final performance to a full house.
