I watched this film not knowing what to expect but I soon discovered a film filled with love and romance. Monica and David are two recently married individuals with Down Syndrome. They must grapple with the day to day issues that any typical married couple must face. They must also deal with the preconceived notions that others have of disabled individuals. Their hard-charging and independent spirit help them overcome many obstacles, along with their loving families who are there with them every step of the way. Watch this film and follow these two unforgettable individuals on their journey as they make a life together as husband and wife.

Excellent documentary! This would be Idea for a reality show!I think it would encourage other people that may have family with down syndrome. It wolud be more benefical then some of the reality shows already on. My partner and I were left wanting to see more, they were inspiring and gave great information regarding how people with down syndrome live normal produtive lives. My partners aunt has down syndrome and just like the parents of David and Monica her mother has a hard time trusting her with others.And because people aren't educated about people with down syndrome I think opening up the way Monica parents did was awesome because it can change those who are ignorant, also helping and pathing a way for families to feel more at ease when letting go and allowing their loved one the independence they deserve and desire both being rightfully so.
