फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
I've seen 7 episodes of this I felt this is very different than what I have seen before. This also follows the Sandeep Vangas's Pattern of Film making and one will love how consistently it is inconsistent throughout the whole proceedings. There are episodes that can be easily cut , such as the Nitya's episode's love track between Her and Rehan. But beyond that the monotonous storyline is well executed on screen and the Toxicity way beyond the reality at some places. Haven't watched Ray Donovan but would love spend some time on it in future for sure. Lastly , yes there are issues in the content like promoting cheating, infidelity and use of cuss words but at-least this won't waste your time.

I loved Ray Donovan is brilliant TV serial. I have to to admit watching an Indian version I was skeptical, as sometimes the story can change or the acting is not great however I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the show. Some old and current actors so was good to see faces I have not seen in a while.
I would rate it 18+ as it's not for the soft heated as it is a little on the dark side with some funny bits. For an Indian series it sure did step out of it's boundaries and touched on a topic that is always overlooked.
Overall great acting and hope the story continues as I know there is more to series to show your audience.

Pros : From starting to end, Its gripped storyline along with solid cast and acting. All roles are perfect and done justice with their respective screen time. Full marks to Ranna and Venkat for giving badass performance.
Cons : They can deal better with foundation of series where unnecessary put sexuality and minor sexual harassment (which is quite old now). Made benchmark to show higher class in such way which sometimes looks annoying and old fashion.
Netflix trying their best for Indian audiences. Its thrilling series which could be good time pass.
Rest is fine if you are not watching with family.

Rana naidu is a action crime drama show directed by karan anshuman and suparn varma. This is the official adaptation of the american show ray donovan.
Rana daggubati as rana does putforth a formidable performance. Mostly stoic at unemotionally challenging sequences but really tugging at your heart strings when his dark childhood comes under light. You get to see the rana emotionally active then. Venkatesh daggubati, with his heavy hyderabadi accent, plays a deceitful character. Abhishek banerjee as jaffa and sushant singh as tej put enough life into their characters to engage audiences. Surveen chawla is the only strong female presence in the show, and she is a force to reckon with. Among the men, she does command respect. Gaurav chopra, for most part of the show, gives a loud and hammy performance.
Rana and naga's fierce battle looked half baked at first, but really unfurled as the show progresses. You see the why(s) of the resentments of rana towards naga. The three brothers' characters are well written, each having separate personalities and contexts of having them. Jaffa and rana had the same dark childhood but they chose different paths to their adulthood, which to me is an indication of good writing on human complexities. The subplots though interesting does not add much to the story. For eg: nitya and rehan's love angle came and got completely forgotten out of nowhere. Similarly, ani beholds a horrific scene but his mental condition is hardly expanded upon. The CBI angle, too is half baked. Also, this show does not deserve its 10 episodes. You will feel stretched in the middle of the show.
The dialogue has heavy use of slang. It connects with the viewers at some places but also seems unnecessary at other seqeunces. The oneliners from naga are hilarious and clapworthy. There are many adult scenes in this show, which works really well for the required dose of steam.
The cinematography is normal. There is a dark tone to the show, which the colour palette satisfies. The series becomes really interesting when the backstory of rana, naga and prince, surya unfolds. It gives a kickstart to the otherwise flat middle episodes. The background score, seemed unnecessary loud in many scenes. Otherwise, its a good score.
This one's a good watch which could have been better with better writing.

Rana Naidu is a Telugu-language crime drama series that premiered on Netflix. The series stars Rana Daggubati as Rana Naidu, a fixer who makes the problems of Mumbai's elite disappear at the snap of his fingers. When his father, Naga (played by Venkatesh Daggubati), is released from prison five years early, Rana's life takes a dramatic turn.
The series is a loose adaptation of the American crime drama series Ray Donovan. However, Rana Naidu has its own unique flavor, thanks to the strong performances of its cast, led by Rana Daggubati. Daggubati is outstanding as Rana Naidu, bringing a complex mix of charisma, ruthlessness, and vulnerability to the role. Venkatesh Daggubati is also excellent as Naga, and the supporting cast is also very good.
The series is well-paced and suspenseful, with plenty of twists and turns to keep viewers hooked. The action sequences are well-choreographed, and the violence is graphic but not gratuitous. The series also tackles some important social issues, such as corruption, misogyny, and violence against women.
Overall, Rana Naidu is a well-made crime drama that is sure to please fans of the genre. The series is definitely worth a watch, especially for fans of Venkatesh Daggubati.
