La edad de la ira

This was a very good story. Had this been on Netflix, it would've had quite some viewers. I've loved Manu Rios ever since I saw him in Elite so he's the main reason why I watched this show. But the show as a whole was very good, not in the 'i can't stop watching' kind of way. But in the kind you will always come back to finish. I love the story about coming out, about how hate breeds more hate. This was a superb watch that everyone should check out.

Great script, with living characters, great actors, director, soundtrack, sensitive, intelligent, the book was very good, but the adaptation has managed to improve it, reminding me of the great André Maurois in his novel Climas, a pleasure to see it, feel it, live it...wanting more stories like this, we will follow its creators...a Jewel.

Like the previous reviewer, I also came here following Manu Ríos' success in Elite. But I was positively surprised by how good this mini series is. The story is not (and some characters) free of clichés, but the portrait of middle-class families in Madrid feels genuine and refreshing. But what really shines for me is the storytelling.

Because each episode narrates what happened through the eyes of a different character, the viewer constructs each individual personality differently, depending on who's telling us the story. This leads us to a very interesting build up to the final episode, where you expect Marcos to act in a way that's different from who really is. And that leaves the viewer thinking about how reality really is subjective and depends on who's describing it.
