फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Its about
Real life of many people who still don't know their basis right...
Never miss it.
A village satire which is very much close to the current scenario. Ramya Pandian and Mithun manickam lived in their roles. Vani has done her part well. Vadivelu murugan and appatha added flavors to the movie.
Music and Bgms by krishh are exceptional. Dialogues are backbone to this satire.

A wake-up call that brings together good humor and socio-political awareness. Production was generally so-so
DELICIOUS
---The film was a beautiful display of village life and its people. We got to experience the farming activities and see the painful labor under the scorching sun
---The scenario was an eye-opener that loudly called us to be vigilant about the measures taken by our leaders. It showed us politics' manipulation of information and power while giving us a good dose of laughter.
---Beautiful work on the color grading and CGI effects!
---The soundtrack lyrics challenged us and accentuated the message of the story
BLAND
---Though the acting was natural, it didn't empower the movie. Kunnimuthhu and Veerayi, as well as the supporting cast, rendered an average performance
---Cinematography was ok, some angles were shot too briskly without a particular purpose
---In a few scenes, the score was abruptly interrupted by another one making it a bit disrupting
---The film took a whiiiile to take off due to the climax coming very late, making it unexciting afterall.

What is "Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum"? It is a movie about a villager who has lost his bullocks, the events leading to it and the aftermath. The movie has a brilliant plot but gets mired and bogged down by touching too many issues. Sticking to the plot could have produced a gritty watch.
The movie is quite engaging till the intermission. The second half veers away and tries to carry too much on the shoulders without being able to do justice to everything. Comparisons can't be avoided, as the political mockery and media spectacle has been seen in (similar) movies such as Joker.
What really sets this movie apart is the production and the cast. The cast does a fantastic job, especially the appatha(s). Makes me wonder if these people are actors or were taken from the nearby villages. Cinematography and sound capture a bare bones village exquisitely. The characters are well developed that even the village wastrel does a brilliant job of still sleeping at the chavadi though there is a funeral procession and band playing right next to him. The political and media circus make for a funny watch. The resemblance to certain politicians is obvious.
The movie is definitely a good watch. Though it tries to be too many things, it can't be dismissed.

The film's strength lies in its portrayal of the characters. The actors do a respectable job here, and the dialogue sounds authentic enough to not notice any goofs.
The story is simple, and doesn't beat around the bush.
Overall, its worth a watch.
