People are too harsh with this movie, forgetting it's the first moroccan superhero made by moroccans for moroccans. It's actually a nice watch, with a great representation of moroccan and amazigh identity.

OST is great, and visual effects aren't all incredible but the budget is well distributed. Honestly, better than recent Marvel movies! And the effects and choreography can't be compared to Hollywood productions as it is simply not the same budget nor experience.

Actors do a great job (some are better in the darija version than in the french one).

While watching this movie, you can feel the love, and dedication.

I have seen youtube videos have better production than this low budget movie pretending to be a real movie , with their sloppy VFX , and the writer who whenever is stuck choses the most random solution to go on with the story , the acting is so bad i mean you can tell they are acting , especially when the main character is not an actor in the first place , don't even get me started on the superhero costume , my god what the hell is that , first time i see a superhero costume that is baggy and the hero himself in bad form , we literally see the zipper for god sake .. and the music choice OH MY GOD , u can clearly feel that the guys behind this movie do not know anything about Morocco .

First super hero movie from Maghreb I loved it It's not a marvel but a good start that will encourage other African countries to make more syfy movies and tell more African stories.

The villain, played by Samy Naceri, adds weight and intrigue, while the beautiful landscapes and immersive soundtrack make Morocco not just a setting, but a character of its own.

What truly makes Atoman special is its spirit. It's not trying to be Marvel-and that's its strength. It's raw, authentic, and filled with heart. The breathtaking scenery and culturally infused story serve as a love letter to Morocco and a bold invitation for African filmmakers to tell their own stories.

Special applause must go to Aicha, whose work behind the scenes helped shape this gem. Her vision and passion as co-producer helped bring Atoman to life, showing what's possible when bold dreams meet action.

I had high hopes going into Atoman, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most underwhelming movie experiences I've had in a long time. The film completely fails to deliver on every front. There are virtually no special effects to speak of-an unforgivable flaw for a movie in this genre. The story is paper-thin, with no real world-building or character development, leaving viewers disconnected and uninterested. To make matters worse, the acting is painfully amateurish, making it difficult to stay engaged or take the plot seriously. Overall, Atoman feels like a missed opportunity and a waste of time. I cannot recommend it.
