Great movie

This movie is a true story and with that I can relate to how things spin out of control really quick. I loved the actors and production quality was excellent! I can appreciate a movie without the Hollywood budgets that make me watch over and over again!

Good movie

It's an okay movie to watch. I rate it 7/10. The girl who played the stripper should get her bbl fixed. It looked like an episode of botched. It was very disturbing. The cast who filmed thought it was okay to show it which is sad. I didn't know there's a part 2 to this. The plot is good and overall I wasn't disappointed. I agree some of the characters could use some acting classes but overall, for the most part, everybody was okay. I'm going to watch part 2 and leave my review. There are people who move like this in real life so it wasn't an unrealistic plot. This is not a spoiler review and hope its helpful to others.

Horrible in Every Facet of What a Movie SHOULD BE

Unrealistic and Dumb story. No woman in a marriage is going to do this type of stuff. Why did she not seek out therapy, counseling or medical help for her husband??? DUMB!!!

Horrible acting. - and the people are so stereo-typical "black" people, saying "Dog" and "Yo" and "You know what I'm sayin'" and "For Real" like every 30 seconds in the movie.

Avoid this at all costs. WASTE OF TIME.

Worth watching

I really enjoyed He Played Me. The story was gripping, especially knowing it was based on a true story, which made it feel more real and emotional. The plot was strong and kept my attention the whole time. It really shows how someone can get caught up in a toxic relationship before they even realize what's happening. I also thought the movie looked really good, especially for what I assume was a modest budget. It had a polished, cinematic feel that worked well with the drama. While some moments felt familiar or a little over the top, it still delivered a powerful message. Definitely worth watching!

We Got Played

The only person who got played is who watched this. I wished I didn't come across the movie, the plot is weak, you already knew where this is going.. you'd predict this quicker than you'd answer a 1+1 math plus acting is below average, given that the budget is 28k, you get what you paid for. They tried to make up for their abysmal attempt of thriller with a hot lady. Other than that, a perfect cure for insomnia.
