Adele is a hard-working surgeon. However, when her father back home in a small town, wins the mayoral election, she takes time off to go home to celebrate. When she gets there she accidentally backs into Grant, her best friend's younger brother, who moved back to town to work as the town's doctor. His clinic is old and worn out, so he's working to build a new one. Adele steps in for Grant when he rests on her orders. Days go by, and she gets to know Grant more and more while reconnecting with her old hometown. But her job as a surgeon still awaits her in the big city.
