Isabelle Carré, Bernard Campan, Mounir Amamra, Eric Viellard and Olivier Claverie all reprise the roles they originated in the stage play in 2019. It was Carré and Campan who suggested to its writer/director Ivan Calbérac to adapt the play into a film, after receiving four nominations at the Molière Awards.
