Buck: [after alarm sounds in briefing room, to ODST squad] You know the music; time to dance.

Dutch: [after driving off a tall cliff and crashing a vehicle] Uh, Lord? I didn't train to be a pilot. Tell me I don't have any more flying to do today.
[plane crashes next to Dutch]
Dutch: So... was that a yes or no?
[Dutch's vechicle explodes]
Dutch: Amen.

Mickey: [a bunch of Marines are running down the road from something] Hey! Where's the fight at?
Marine: Take a guess, genius!
[points behind him]

Buck: [to Buck, after directing Dare to her pod] You gonna tell us her name, Gunny?
Buck: [snatching the rifle out of his hand, setting it back in the rack] *Miss* Naval Intelligence. Our new boss.
Mickey: [quietly] Oh, brother...
Buck: So check you mouths, find your chairs...
[picks up a sniper rifle, shoves it into Romeo's arms]
Buck: ... and get *set* for a combat drop!
[walks off]
Romeo: [staring after him] The hell am I supposed to do with this *inside* a Covenant ship?

Dutch: [shoving Romeo away] Relax, Rookie. He don't mean nothin'. 'sides, now's one of those times?
[hands the Rookie a Silenced SMG]
Dutch: Pays to be the strong, silent type.

Buck: [when Romeo refuses to speak] Hey, Romeo. You got your ears on?
[Romeo shrugs his shoulders]
Buck: *Ohh*, I get it. Permission to speak, *smartass*.
Romeo: [deactivates helmet visor] No, I *don't* know what it was. But it was gonna grease your ass good. Just like it did the Captain.
Buck: [beat, then checks a drone buried into a pillar] Yeah, maybe. You hear from Mickey? Dutch?
Romeo: Negative.
Buck: The Rookie?
Romeo: [shakes his head] ...
Buck: We need to get above this crap, link with the bee-net. One of our drones must've seen where they hit.
Romeo: So we're poppin' smoke on the lady's mission? She ever tell you what she wanted?
Buck: [brow furrowing] No... Never.
[beat]
Buck: Doesn't matter. All I care about now is gettin' my men out of this city.
[puts his helmet back on]
Buck: Even *you.*

Romeo: [during drop; passing by the wreckage of a naval fleet] I take it back. Navy got its butt kicked.
Buck: Hey, Romeo. Remember when I told you to shut your mouth?
Romeo: Yeah?
Buck: Consider that a standing order.

Buck: [trapped under a Brute Chieftain's corpse; muffled] Get... this... thing... off of me!

Dare: [over the radio] My hatch won't open. How about yours?
Buck: [Buck opens his hatch, and subsequently falls out of his pod] Ahh... Works great!

Mickey: [finding the tunnels at the Kikowani train station blocked off] This means we're screwed, right?

Mickey: [about Dare's ODST Recon Armor] What the hell kind of armor was she wearing?
Romeo: Dunno, Mickey. I wasn't lookin' at her gear.

Marine #1: [at dead Brute] I'm gonna shave this one and see if we're related!

Dutch: Dear diary. Today I taught some aliens about the foolishness of messing with ODSTs!

Dare: Lord Hood may have given you clearance, but it was my op and it's my interrogation. We only captured one; it's very delicate.
Sgt. Johnson: Don't worry. I know what the aliens like.

Buck: [while shooting at dead Brute] This - is your - 08:00 AM - *wake-up call!*
