With The Belko Experiment hitting theaters in just a few weeks, Blumhouse Tilt has been releasing new footage to get fans ready for this terrifying thriller. Today we have a new video that doesn't exactly show any footage from the movie, but instead offers a glimpse at what the movie might look like in claymation. This new short film from director Lee Hardcastle perfectly captures the tone of The Belko Experiment, while going hilariously over the top with gore in only the way that claymation can offer.

Earlier today, Warner Bros. issued a release date for Godzilla vs. Kong while delaying Godzilla 2 by 9 months. They also set aside the December 25, 2018 release date for an unspecified event film, and pushed an unknown DC superhero movie from June 19, 2020 to July 24, 2020. While the studio has never officially confirmed what movie will debut on that summer 2020 date, it's been widely assumed that it will be Green Lantern Corps., since it was the last movie mentioned on Warner Bros.' Back in June, following the explosive and well-received Actors Fund benefit that featured the music of 'Bombshell' from the NBC television series 'Smash,' Universal Stage Productions announced plans to begin development on 'Bombshell' as a musical for the stage. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, producing duo Craig Zadan and Neil Meron revealed that it won't be much longer until work on the project begins.

Chicago – December 9th is the 2014 second season premiere of “Ground Floor,” the TBS workplace comedy featuring John C. McGinley (“Scrubs”), plus Skylar Astin and Briga Heelan (seen in the film “Pitch Perfect”). Chicago native Cindy Caponera is a writer and co-executive producer on the show.

In a variation on the “Slobs versus the Snobs” scenario, “Ground Floor” is set in a financial company that features a romance between an occupant of the upper floors – where the master-of-the-universe financial consultants hold court – and a worker on the “ground floor,” where the operations and maintenance crew resides. A big part of the hilarity is provided by John C. McGinley, playing a mentor character as in “Scrubs,” but in a softer and gently funny way. The chemistry between the featured couple, portrayed by Astin and Heelan, provides the conflict between the two parts of the company.

Premiering Sunday night, HBO's The Leftovers, about a small New York town in the aftermath of a global Rapture-like event that caused the sudden disappearance of two percent of the world's population, was possibly the most anticipated new show of the summer. While disturbing, the first episode did not disappoint.

The show opens with a frazzled young mother running errands with her crying baby. As she gets ready to pull out of the parking lot, the baby's wails stop, thanks to every mother's worst fear. The child's gone without a trace.

“Ping Pong Summer” is a good tribute movie to those moviegoers who remember growing up in the 80s. It’s about a teenager who spends a summer at the beach in Ocean City in 1985. It combines the tributes of arcade games, young teen love, hip hop and of course—ping pong.

The film has great veteran actors like Susan Sarandon, Lea Thompson, Amy Sedaris and John Hannah. It also features the young actors of Marcello Conte, Myles Massey and Emmi Shockley.

I interviewed "Undateable" executive producer Bill Lawrence and Adam Sztykiel at a noisy bar in Pasadena shortly before a press conference in mid-April. Going back and transcribing the 35-minute interview is bittersweet. At the time, Lawrence had two shows in limbo -- TBS' "Cougar Town" and Fox's newly premiered "Surviving Jack," which he EPed along with creators Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker. While Lawrence wasn't directly involved with "Enlisted," he has a close relationship with "Enlisted" and "Cougar Town" creator Kevin Biegel, whose comedy was newly shelved. Independence Day managed to revive both the alien invasion movie and the disaster flick in 1996, and just about every other mainstream picture released that year lived in its saucer-shaped shadow.

Yet beyond the aerial battles of Independence Day, the flying cows in Twister, and the high-wire antics of Tom Cruise in Brian De Palma's Mission: Impossible, there sat an entire library of lesser-known and underappreciated movies.

As part of our attempts to highlight the unsung greats of the 90s, here's our selection of 25 such films from 1996 - the year chess champion Garry Kasparov lost to the might of the computer Deep Blue, and the year comedy star Jim Carrey starred in an unexpectedly dark tale of obsession...

2 Guns shows that the cop buddy movie has flatlined. It only took 24 hours for the film to vanish from my mind – and I took notes. Yes, it's the umpteenth buddy-cop retread, where two wily but likable antagonists are forced to team up to fulfil their competing agendas. Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington play undercover operatives posing as drug traffickers in order to snag Edward James Olmos's Latin drug lord. Their chemistry and fast-talking effervescence are instantly appealing: Washington the swaggeringly confident dandy, and Wahlberg all nerves, jitters and querulousness.

But as usual, the problem is the formula, not the duo. Diverting as the banter is, there's no dodging the fact that Walter Hill's 48 Hrs has officially now been remade for the bazillionth time in 31 years.

Back in 1955, Joseph L. Mankiewicz directed for independent producer Samuel Goldwyn a highly successful movie version of the Broadway musical based on a Damon Runyon short story. Distributed by MGM, that particular Guys and Dolls starred Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons, Frank Sinatra, and Vivian Blaine. This time around, Fox supposedly wants Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, whose singing prowess was amply displayed in, respectively, G.I. Joe: Retaliation and The Dark Knight Rises. And Tatum and Gordon-Levitt can dance, too, as proven at the 2013 Oscar show (and, in Tatum’s case, Magic Mike). But hey, Goldwyn didn’t care that neither Marlon Brando nor Jean Simmons could sing (or dance), either. And Brando...

It seemed to be some sort of rule of thumb with the more iconic of horror baddies – the bigger you are then the harder and much more spectacularly you fall, usually amidst a climatic showcase of visual effects that have stretched the already limited budget of the film to near breaking point. I guess that's part of their enduring appeal. I mean, would Dracula really have been as unforgettable as he is if he was easily snuffed out by a simple baseball bat to the dome? Could you imagine watching a version of King Kong where the ape was simply put down like Old Yeller instead of being shot down from the top of the Empire State building? Some of these deaths have become as iconic as the villain themselves, complimenting the closing of the film with some final reel fireworks. Even a nameless henchman has a fighting chance for...

Welcome to the 2013 Academy Awards. I tell you this because what with all the singing and dancing and appearance of Kristin Chenoweth everywhere you might have confused it for the Tonys momentarily. But, no, it was indeed the Oscars and there were awards and musical numbers and bad jokes and better speeches and the world’s most endearing fall.

The show’s host was Family Guy creator and wanna be Broadway star Seth MacFarlane. He started the show by, wait for it, singing a song about seeing the boobs of Oscar-nominated actresses. Let me repeat, he sang a song called “We Saw Your Boobs.” I’m a gay lady who loves seeing boobs and that made me never want to see boobs again.

William Shatner shows up in the opening number as Captain Kirk because, I’m not really sure and probably now neither is he.

Back in January, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that the 85th Annual Academy Awards will feature a tribute to James Bond, in honor of the franchise's 50th anniversary. While no specific details were released, many have speculated that Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron planned on getting every actor who portrayed 007 together on the Oscar stage. The producers recently shot down this rumor, but revealed their tribute will be quite unique.

Back in 2010, Fox 2000 won a bidding war with Universal to secure a script pitch by Erin Brockovich writer Susannah Grant, which promised to spin an original tale around the songs of California warblers The Beach Boys. Now Michael Sucsy, who has just enjoyed some box office success with The Vow, is in talks to direct the eventual film.Grant’s completed script, which is still being kept sub rosa, apparently surfs the tale of a summer in the 1960s, and has been doing the rounds of directors recently.The project comes clutching the rights to most of Brian Wilson and company’s back catalogue, which is largely thanks to producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who have sherpherded the likes of Chicago and Hairspray into cinemas. That's not forgetting actor/producer John Stamos, who is a friend of the band and has been known to jam with several of the members from time to time.

ABC's drama pilot "Nashville" will be cast by Jeanie Bacharach, Back Stage has learned.The pilot, from Lionsgate TV and ABC Studios, was written by Callie Khouri, who won a best original screenplay Oscar in 1991 for "Thelma & Louise." The pilot is described as a primetime soap set in the world of country music, following one star at the top of the industry and another star on the rise. The project will shoot in Nashville, Tenn., though a date has not been set.Bacharach recently parted ways with her partner Gillian O'Neill, with whom she cast the SyFy series "Alphas" and the ABC drama "Brothers & Sisters," which ran from 2006 to 2011. U.S. casting for "Alphas," which shoots in Toronto, is now being handled by Suzanne Goddard-Smythe, who also does the U.S. casting for another Toronto-shot SyFy series, "Warehouse 13."...

The Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour kicked off last week in Pasadena and the TV networks have been busy trotting out their new shows and talent as well as wining and dining the critics in hopes of finding love when it comes to their new shows. The lights are about to go down, and the stars are getting ready to shine.

The 20th Annual Stella Artois St. Louis International Film Festival (Sliff) will be held Nov. 10-20. Sliff will screen nearly 400 films: 257 shorts, 89 features and 53 documentaries. This year.s festival features a record 205 programs, with 43 countries represented. The fest will host more than 100 filmmakers and related guests.

The festival opens with the St. Louis premiere of .The Artist,. the major hit of the festival circuit, a black-and-white silent romance about the arrival of the sound era in Hollywood that costars St. Louis native son John Goodman.

Other prominent films featured in the festival include .The Descendents,. .Jeff, Who Lives at Home,. .A Dangerous Method,. .Shame,. .Coriolanus,. .In Darkness,. .Butter,. .We Need to Talk About Kevin,. and .I Melt With You.

There's been plenty of surprising killers from various horror movies over the years. I betcha know one saw that their was going to be two killers in Scream in the form of Matthew Lillard & Skeet Ulrich. Or how about that dead guy that had blown out his brains in Saw that turned out to be Jigsaw. You have films like Black Christmas and Final Exam where the killer turned out to be some random person with no connection to the film's protagonists what so ever. So which killer truly surprised me....

The Initiation That distinction belongs to Daphne Zungia from The Initiation. ....well her evil twin at least. I don't think anyone saw that one coming. I think pretty much everyone was expecting it to be her dad or to be one of her classmates, but her evil twin? That was a pretty inspired choice and Zungia played it surprisingly well.

Hell Night Day 2 - Horror Film Crush? If you grew up watching horror films like myself, then you were bound to have had a crush or two on some of the people who appeared in these films. Was it Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween? Or how about Skeet Ulrich from Scream. Or maybe, just maybe, you had a thing for older women then yourself such as scream queen legend Linnea Quigley? Who wouldn't have a crush on her after seeing Night of the Demons? Or maybe for the women out there it was a young, fresh faced Johnny Depp in the original A Nightmare on Elm Street. All fine contenders for horror film crush if you ask me, but my first horror film crush was none other then.....

Linda Blair herself. I saw The Exorcist at a really young age. Then seeing her in Hell Night, she had definitely developed her ......ummmmmmm.

Normally, I like to lead my Sundance coverage with the positive. At this festival, it’s an article of faith that a terrific movie, no matter how small, takes precedence over a lousy movie, no matter how big. But I Melt With You, a men-behaving- badly “shocker,” may be a special case. Fifteen minutes into it, I wanted to walk out; 45 minutes in, I wanted to commit seppuku. And there was still more than an hour to go! Through the torture of it all, I began to grasp that this was no ordinary bad movie. It’s howlingly, outrageously bad.

America Lost And Found: The Bbs Story (Criterion) Perhaps the best DVD box set released this year, this ultimate cinefile stocking stuffer offered up by Criterion, the Rolls-Royce of home video labels, features seven seminal works from the late ‘60s-early ‘70s that were brought to life by cutting edge producers Bert Schneider, Steve Blauner and director/producer Bob Rafelson, the principals of Bbs Productions.
