The director received several death threats after the movie was released

This movie resulted in Marian Dora and Carsten Frank ending their professional partnership. According to Dora, Frank forced him to remove over half an hour of extreme content due to fear of legal prosecution.

The part where a female character gets cut in the chest was not done using an effect, the actress was actually getting cut.

The film was shot in three weeks. The director has described it as a horrible time for everyone involved, and that he would never want to go through it again.

In later years lead actor Zenza Raggi did an interview about the movie, being the first and currently only one to comment on the production besides the director. He said that many of the stories about the production are not true, for example stating that the experience was not as horrible as claimed, that no drugs were taken, and that the director was really shy and not so involved.
