The street scene was shot on two different streets. The houses were owned by friends of the producer and they granted permission to shoot in their homes and yards but lived on different streets of the same neighborhood.

All of the actors were members of ComedySportz in Kansas City except for Naomi Key who was a student at Central Missouri State University.

The church scene was shot in an actual Methodist Church. However, it features a confessional that was fashioned to make it look like a Catholic Church.

The grave is so shallow to not only facilitate Ausin Markel sitting up, but also because it was dug on property that was for sale. The crew had to put the dirt and sod back on top like it had never been touched, so no one would notice.
