Netflix is staying firmly in the action movie game for the foreseeable future, with the streaming giant having now confirmed that a spin-off to one of its best action thrillers is in the works and set to land in 2025. The platform and studio has delivered several acclaimed action movies this year, including the likes of Rebel Ridge and The Shadow Strays, and no doubt hope to continue that same success with whats to come next year.

The action thriller Mantis, details of which come via Deadline, hails from Korea and spins off from last years acclaimed action outing Kill Boksoon. The first movie follows a single mother and hired killer who struggles to balance her violent work life with her personal life.
