फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Quick moving story with a couple of truly scary moments. Loved the combo of old fashioned horror hotel with a more modern feel. Gregg Schweers was great as the innkeeper.
Fraternal twins Sarah Moss and Spencer Moss are following their missing father's footsteps. Their search leads them to the Eagle Inn in Vermont. Suspicion grows in the eerily quiet isolated hotel.
I like both Amelia Dudley and Taylor Turner. They actually look like brother and sister. The best is Dean. They all have a bit of creepiness. This is a creepy micro indie. There is something unsettling about the quietness of the hotel. Even the old TVs seem creepy. It's only 70 minutes. It probably needs another twenty minutes. The plot is a little thin. It needs another character, maybe a maid. It needs one more thing. I would make the father's disappearance more recent. It would allow for the possibility of finding him, and that would raise the tension. This is a good start.

Well, I will say that "Night at the Eagle Inn" from writers Erik Bloomquist and Carson Bloomquist does start out adequately and the writers do manage to establish a nice enough concept and build-up, but then the movie just collapses like a card house in a gust of wind.
When I sat down to watch "Night at the Eagle Inn", all I knew about the movie was that it was a horror mystery of sort. And with it being a new movie, a horror movie nonetheless, and it having an interesting enough cover/poster, then of course I opted to give this 2021 movie a chance.
And as I said, the movie started out well enough, but then it just slipped down a very slippery slope and never rebounded. And that made for a less than mediocre movie experience, and I have to admit that my interest in the storyline was receding gradually as the movie progressed. So writers Erik Bloomquist and Carson Bloomquist didn't really manage to compile something that proved all that entertaining or worthwhile for me.
Sure, if you are new to the horror genre, then there are things to enjoy in "Night at the Eagle Inn". But if you are a seasoned horror veteran, such as myself, then there is just nothing outstanding to be experienced here. And you might actually want to spend your time, money and effort elsewhere.
The acting performances in "Night at the Eagle Inn" were adequate. However, I wouldn't really say that the performances in the movie, even by the lead performers, was anything to write home about.
Ultimately, then "Night at the Eagle Inn" was semi-watchable, but it is a horror movie that came and went without as much as leaving a lasting impression. And I am sure that I will have forgotten about "Night at the Eagle Inn" come the beginning of next week.
My rating of "Night at the Eagle Inn" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

The pacing wasn't great at the start, and the story is one a seasoned horror fan would feel like it's familiar, but it was a decent low budget indie horror film. The acting is pretty good actually, and there are some nice tense and creepy moments. Even though it was a low budget film I think they did well with the budget, because it doesn't look cheap or anything like that.
It's much better once it warms up, and the dark and creepy moments kick in.
The ending could have been better, even if it wasn't at all surprising. It's the kind of ending I don't like as much as the "good ending". It could have been a lot more interesting.

That being said this movie was not horrible. I loved the brother and he was interesting enough to keep me invested in the movie. Aside from that nothing else was interesting about this movie. The story was just ok, not sure why they threw in that the sis was taking Modafinil (A medication to keep you awake due to narcolepsy). Details matter to me and it was never explained more on why they both kept drifting off like they did. This movie could have been half good at least but it just wasn't.
