Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again

The museum is in need of a new night guard as Larry has got an new job at Tokya Museum and Larry's son Nick is given the job offer to take over as new night guard. Now, Nick is still a boy too scared to fight his self doubt and he his pit against Kahmunrah returning from the last film along with the daddy issues. Plus, they get to travel to ancient Egypt this time and it is upto Nick to find his confidence back on time to bring everybody back to the museum safe.

The film offers nothing new, mainly because I am not the target audience for this animated feature unlike the live-action trilogy. I did chuckle at couple of lines but that was about it. Largely aimed at kids only, I guess it's serves the purpose of giving basic entertainment as it doesn't try anything more. The lines are as pedestrian as a cartoon show might get and the screenplay is extremely convenient.

I found out about this movie from my brother. And I started watching this hopeful that this would at lest have some good things with it.

But just as I hoped that it didn't do, it ruined a great franchise.

Why does Disney have to ruin everything?

I have seen some reviews here saying the CGI is good, and yes it can seam amazing at first, until you realize it was made in 2022.

The story seams to have been set after the 3rd movie, but there is a ton of stuff that is just plain wrong, and is just disappointing for them to mess up.

Here are some of them:

• Wasn't Nick going to College?

• Didn't Larry become a teacher?

• Why is Kahmunrah in New York?

• Where did the basement stuff come from?

• Didn't Dr. McPhee know they were alive?

• Why are they bullies to everyone who's not Larry or Nick?

• Why is the tablet in New York?

I am mad and disappointed at the existence of this horrible movie.

Joshua Bassett voices Nick with a relatable blend of teenage apprehension and burgeoning heroism, stepping into the night watchman role with a desire to prove himself. Joseph Kamal brings a suitably menacing yet slightly theatrical flair to Kahmunrah, making him a compelling antagonist for this new adventure. The animation allows for more fantastical scenarios and imaginative set pieces, expanding the possibilities of what can come to life within the museum walls.

It successfully introduces a new protagonist and exciting historical figures while staying true to the core concept of museum exhibits coming to life at night. With its bright animation, engaging storyline, and strong voice cast, it's a delightful family film that proves the adventures within the museum walls are far from over, promising more historical hijinks for a new generation of fans.

There are far worse animated films you can choose. This is not one of them. As the title says it is fun, fast and energetic. No time for slow moments!

Gorgeously animated with great camera shots that enhances the plot.

It is a simple plot but that is what makes it so fun to. Watch! The creators have fun in coming up with various obstacles they can throw at the characters and leaves us with no time to breath between them. And the result is very entertaining for us to behold.

The movie also pays tribute to the previous movies in the franchise and even pokes fun at itself, which again works well for the story. It is a silly story and the ovie knows it..

It left me with a smile, chuckle and a feel good time. It does not invent any wheels but it does not need to either.

Seriously Disney do you lack so much creativity nowadays first you do pointless and forgettable squeals like Hocus Pocus, Enchanted and your latest movie strange world just sucked.

I love the night of the museum movies all 3 films it had charm and humor and very memorable actors like Robin Williams, ben stiller, Owen Wilson and more all the actors give it there all. Now this latest one which is unnecessary like Toy story 4 we didn't need four movies it ended fine on third movie.

The animation looks awful looks like something you see in point and click game none of original actors did the voices and no one can top the late Robin Williams as Teddy.

The characters are easily forgettable in comparsion live action version and Disney continues to go downhill theres no creativity anymore just painful cash grabs.
