Alien: Earth

This is essentially an alien series made for Netflix / Hulu millennial gen z audience. Romulus had that feel to it too but this is even more so. The biggest problem is the cast . I just really don't know what they're thinking lately with the terrible actors they're selecting . It's like they are obligated to check boxes and not actually look for talent . It throws the whole thing off for the alien themes. You feel like you're watching tik tok aliens. The one thing this series has going for it is the actual aliens . Some even better than Romulus as far as visuals . The concept was slightly interesting for the earth settings . Overall though about what I expected a series to be . Another Disney swing and a miss. Bring back Ridley at the helm.

Saw the premiere episode in a local movie theater and it did not disappoint! Fantastic marketing move by Disney to get the word out about the show. They clearly know what they have and they want to generate buzz around this series. This has the potential to be a massive success. It has the feel of a traditional Alien entry, however it has brand new elements that will make it a unique, standalone project. If there's one takeaway I got from seeing the first episode, it is that Noah Hawley is going to deliver like he always has.

Allen: Earth is finally here and is actually a lot better than I expected it to be. It's full of enough excitement and thrills that make the episodes feel like they fly by. The only negative is that we have to wait to wait a week between episodes. I have come so used to binging series that that's how I like to watch my shows. I hate waiting a week when I enjoy a show but I guess that's a good thing but that's better than the show being bad and not caring about it. I admit I'm not the biggest or most knowledgeable Alien fan, the originals were made before I was born but I have watched them and enjoyed them. I am a big sci-fi fan though and this is one of the better new sci-fi shows currently on. I did read that if you are a big Alien fan that this series will reward you with plenty of fun Easter eggs and the more you know about the franchise the more you're going to enjoy this series.

There have been plenty of Alien projects that have come out over the years since the original trilogy and I have to say with great excitement that Alien: Earth is the best addition since the original trilogy with Signorney Weaver. It's gotten nothing but great reviews from both critics and fans of the franchise. It actually currently has a fantastic 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. Alien: Earth is about when a mysterious spaceship crashes on Earth and a ragtag group of soldiers, led by a woman named Wendy, have to make the discovery that will put them up against the greatest threat the planet has ever seen. What follows is a really fun series that will keep you entertained throughout each episode.
