This is a fairly decent show with a lot of plot holes. Rose is a substitute (supply) teacher who kidnaps an abused third grader in her class after the principal and authorities fail to get her help.

There are some plot holes or things not explained very well by the subtitles that made the show confusing at points. Most egregious is how visible Rose and Lisa are after escaping to Bordeaux, unconcerned about their safety or that Rose's estranged relatives suspect something.

While not a bad show, I think the writing could have explained important plot points better as the show developed. The acting is good, particularly from the girl playing Lisa. You almost feel sorry for Lisa's mother but then remember how villainous she actually is.

The acting was good, especially by the little girl! Some parts were a bit silly, but in general it was a good show. Very sad story. Makes you wonder what you'd do in that situation.
