The Exorcism in Amarillo

I watched this movie The Exorcism in Amarillo after watching this families other comedy movie, The Badge, The Bible and Bigfoot. It is good for a few laughs. It would be hard to believe that this movie was made with the intention of being serious. I found the story stupid and the acting atrocious. These people need to find another way to make money because film making is not their talent. Maybe they would be as faith healers. I would not recommend watching unless suffering from insomnia and using a cpap. If you think this movie is serious than you are probably a evangelical, bible thumping maga maniac.

Despite all the plaudits here (clearly written by fellow Christians) this not a good film. It's poorly written, poorly acted and poorly directed. I have nothing against Christian movies, it's just that I've rarely seen a good one. Horror fans can safely skip this one.

I would start by saying acting could have been better, but I think they did a good job overall. If I asked them to go to acting school then they would be worse and look like crack heads moving around too much as the Hollywood flicks do. I like that this was real, and instead of focusing on negatives about music, I actually learned and focused on the point of the film. This does help educate us part-time christians, and has opened my eyes to be careful of what's in my house with my kids. I am happy that someone made a film to testify on there experience and they were not too scared of what others thought to do this. Thumbs up and you have my respect.

This was definitely a floater of a movie. Something tells me the people who ranted on about it being a good "Christian " film are also Qanon believers and own a little red trucker hat...because this movie was absolute garbage. The kids were actually the best actors in the entire film.

I would have much preferred to watch a cheesy documentary on this supposed "true story" than to have suffered the terrible acting, non existent plot and the awful awful music.

Why o why did they force steroid Matt Damon from "Stillwater" to read a book on camera? There's a reason this movie only has 2 stars in prime...because you can't give negative stars.

WTF did I just watch? What is this doing on mainstream streaming platforms? This is a family home video. It belongs boxed up in the attic with all the other pictures and video nobody outside the family would possibly care about, not on my TV. This is less interesting than a strangers vacation slide show.

Anything I say now is to make enough characters to be able to post the review. There really is nothing else to say. It's a garbage film. Don't waste your time, this isn't even a so bad it's funny kind of situation. Makes me embarrassed to be from Texas. Lame family. They must be pretty full of them selves to think the rest of the world cares... Typical evangelical I suppose.
