Okay film

I found this film and their YouTube channel after watching a YouTuber named Austin McConnell. I've been following this channel now for months and I saw they posted it on IMDB which is really cool. I think it was fun to watch this movie but it just needed some brushing up. I think these guys have a bright future, though if they continue to work hard. I have a feeling their next film is going to be much better since they will have more experience.

Indie film improvisation done right

Rarely are films done with improvisation that feels right. This film walks a delicate and tight rope to prove that you can make a film while totally improvising it.

A Charming Indie made with a lot of heart and some holes.

This film falls under the category of extremely localized filmmaking. Like most in that category it is rough around the edges. This one also happens to be very charming and heart felt. I find myself chuckling in at comic relief and feeling the emotions by the end. With some pollish in the performances and edit I could see this fitting in with something like the early Mark Duplass films. Definitely worth checking out if you're into independent film.

Amazing Film!

This is a great film! I was riveted throughout the entire film. The run time is pretty short so that worked in favor of the movie. The cinematography is also outstanding, especially considering the budget. The only thing that could have been better was the acting. None of the performances are overall bad, but could have been better in certain scenes. Either way, you should check out this amazing film!

A very unique film with the potential to be highly influential

Dan Lotz doesn't care about your suspension of disbelief. With CHLORINE he tells the story of a very unlikely hitman, and a bunch of organized crime guys that look nothing like what we've come to expect. This is done with such confidence that the film takes on a surreal, unsettling, almost unreliable narrator-esque quality-and never breaks, never winks. It assumes we are intelligent enough to get what's going on. I love what Dan has accomplished here-CHLORINE is way less obsessed with itself than something like MR. ROBOT, but hits similar unsettling meta notes. I'd compare it to DARK HORSE, one of Solondz' best films. Take the journey-you'll be glad you did.
