Xiao Zhan and Wu Xuanyi were announced as the leads in December 2019.
It is based on a transmigration novel. The novel has spawned different adaptations such as manhua (Chinese Comics) and donghua (Chinese Animation).
The first trailer was released on October 2020 at the Tencent industry event.
